I was thinking of getting WII Fit for my wife for Christmas, and wanted to get any reviews from users.
Thanks and God Bless

its a good alternative to going to the gym and theres more and more fitness games that go with the fit boardMy wife does spinning and hates the gym, I figured this might be something that she would enjoy using.
If she had expressed to you that she wants to get back into shape, I wouldn’t consider it offensive. Especially if you include games and other stuff besides the 'Fit" part of the game.My wife just had a baby in July and is trying to tone up and get back into shape. I would just hate to get this for her and have her take it the wrong way. Would any of you be offended if you received this as a gift?
I have to confess to a love of video games. But even without that, I’m really finding Wii Fit fun to use and great for improving fitness in the privacy and comfort of my home, at my pace and in whatever time I have available. (I’m still rubbish at most activities, but am enjoying practising and improving. Oh, and I’m not a sports woman in any way, but the sporting type activities are fun to do as well.)My wife hates video games, but did enjoy playing wii in the past. I just want to get her something that she will find fun and get use out of for fitness.

I am a wife who hates video games. I might have fun playing one at someone else’s house, but, would NOT want to get this as a Christmas gift for me.My wife hates video games, but did enjoy playing wii in the past. Well, I guess different strokes for different folks. If you have the space, I’d get her a good stationary or recumbant bike perahps with an iPod. Much simpler to use than hooking up the Wii, finding the fitness board, etc. Do you have a basement?
A gym membership might be good to provided she can get out of the house.
Wii Fit is fun, but I just cant see using it to get in shape. (we have one…).Also, I would imagine that having to stay on that balance board is probably not the best thing either. Too limiting.
