Will Mahony Vote?

Does anyone know if Cardinal Mahony will be part of the conclave to pick the next Pope? He has been ordered to cease public ministry but I don’t know if this is considered. I would prefer he most definitely not be involved but that is not my authority.

I believe it is his plan to vote.

Cardinal Mahony has been ordered to stop public ministry in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, but the Conclave (and his Cardinalate) is a Roman matter, so he would still be entitled to vote (or be elected).

Cardinal Mahony has stated on his personal blog that he intends to vote in the conclave

A papal conclave is conducted in private. It is not part of public ministry, as far as I can tell.
