Will Pope Francis Invite Lutherans into an Ordinariate?

This is a bit confusing. Can you explain?
There is some irony that the Anglican Communion and Lutheran Communion [or the Lutheran World Federation] have rather close ties with whoever the pope may be at the time. Split off from these two worldwide Anglican and Lutheran organizations, who ordain women and gays, are some who also seek some sort of reunion with Roman Catholics [Anglo-Catholics/ Augustana-Catholics, etc]…

An ecumenical council that I believe will include Orthodox, Anglicans, Lutherans among other Christian groups at the invitation of the Pope will iron out the differences over infallibility.

I believe many have a very bad view of papal infallibility for the wrong reasons. Just my opinion

Of course one will notice that orthodox Anglicans have been allowed back in, corporately and orthodox Lutherans can receive the same offer if enough of them present themselves.

On the other hand liberal counter parts have no such offer, and the Popes have absolutely slammed the recent moves made by the liberal counter parts of the orthodox Anglicans (in particular).

So it’s not like the Vatican is buddy buddy with the liberals and luke warm with the orthodox. If anything the reverse is true. But that’s no reason not to continue dialoging and praying for repentance of the mainstream Anglicans and Lutherans.

“You broad-brush Protestantism when this is a thread on a Lutheran ordinariate in current times” - poster was responding to a rant by me, commenter

another poster:
Sadly, his critique of Protestantism hits home for many of us poor Lutherans.
I apologize if my long post was a little off-topic, and did not intend to slam Protestantism. We Catholics also have some folks defying the guidance of Tradition and the Magisterium, going off in destructive directions. I had to laugh that the second poster rightly referred to me with the male pronoun. Must be my male arrogance is obvious.

I wonder how long until a post from a Protestant about “Catholics being allowed back in corporately”.

Corporately…councils…bishops voting differently as a group vs voting directly in union with the Holy Father…comprising…

The early Church did begin with two models, one episcopal with one head the other conciliar with a panel, and in the end practically speaking, it was the Jewish model, the episcopal model that endured and was adopted…early on, we seeing it in the Acts and Epistles.
