Will the Muslim world shed tears for OBL if he died today?

I have 2 questions with regard to an earlier post. (Sorry if they’re off topic - I’m just curious about the answers.)

What is the 1st major sin in Islam?

According to the Qur’an, killing any person without a **just cause **is as big a sin as killing the whole humanity and saving the life of one person is as good deed as saving the whole humanity. (See Al-Ma’idah: 32)
Who determines what the just cause is? What if the suicide/homicide bombers are claiming that the people they are killing oppose Islam and the establishment of shariah law? Is that a just cause? What if they believe they are killing kaffirs for Allah? Is that a just cause?
(The examples I’m thinking of are the killing of various Afghan/Iraqi civilians by other Muslims who viewed the victims as being sympathetic to the U.S… Or the killing of Iraqi police/security forces - what is the justification for that?)

Thank you.

I second this! 👍

My own personal understanding of hell is that it is so absolutely horrible that one shouldn’t even wish that on their worst enemy. So I try to pray for everyone that they can at least make it to Purgatory. (Although there’s alot of people who don’t believe in Purgatory so … 🤷 - but I do, so I’ll keep on praying that bad/misguided people will hear God’s true Word and turn their lives around and that God’s will be done.)

This won’t answer your question, but according to Muslims on here, the only sin that lands you in hell for all eternity is assigning partners to God, which is what we supposidly do as Christians.

So, killing innocents is bad and will put you in hell, but being a Christian is worse.

Ahhh… the infamous “partners”. :rotfl:

But, seriously, they believe all Christians are going to Hell just for being Christians?

Apparently so. Since we don’t worship, exclusively, the ONE TRUE GOD. I wonder if Mormons get a pass since they claim to be Christian but do not worship Jesus?

From what I can tell, Christians who do not assign partners to God are going to be ok. Now, we teach that we worship only one God, so some say that we are ok. Then, when we start saying that Jesus is God, we are back to assigning partners.

Im curious to see what the Muslim Women’s rebuttal is. And what about the bombings in Kenya Embassy what is the justification for that?
There isn’t going to be any. Just some mumbo-jumbo about how evil “the zionists” are, and how no muslim has ever commited terrorism. That terrorism is living in a free society where people can worship as they please…oh well, that last part won’t be said, but it’s the general idea nonetheless

… if OBL died today, there would be great celebrations
what about Bush , Blair , Olmert & other world leaders who are responsible for killings of thousands ( if not millions ) ?

Muslim Woman,
Are we to understand that there is no such thing as a evil person who claims to be Muslim?

Are we to understand that no Muslim has ever committed a crime?

Are we to understand that there are no people doing evil things and claiming that Islam allows it?

Are we to understand that OBL is a hero?

What about all of the leaders on your side of the fence who have been responsible for the killings of thousands if not millions, including fellow muslims by the hundreds of thousands???
It appears to me that only “infidels” can do wrong. Only “infidels” can do murder. Apparently, at least according to some people, Muslims can do no wrong and everything they do, even if it looks like murder to someone else, is “justified”. If we infidels could just understand that, everything would be just peachy! 🤷

why ? What’s the differences between terrorists & Bush , Blair , Olmert ?
If you cannot tell the difference between people that are trying to protect innocent civilians and terrorists that are trying to kill innocent civilians, then I feel sorry for you.

If you cannot tell the difference between people who hide behind women and children deliberately, in order to use their deaths for propaganda, people who hide and launch weapons in or near holy places and hospitals, if you cannot distinguish such people from those who are trying to defend innocent civilians, then I feel sorry for you.

If you cannot see the difference, perhaps you have been blinded by propaganda. Or perhaps you have some other problem. I cannot help someone that refuses to see the difference between evil people and those trying to defend innocent life.

Once you see the difference between evil people and those who merely attempt to defend innocent life, you will not have that question anymore and no one will need to answer it for you.

For any Muslims/experts on Islam reading this thread, please see Post #42. I have a couple questions that I have posted twice but no one has answered from an Islamic source.

Thank you. 🙂

Don’t hold your breath waiting…for any muslim to answer honestly would require that they admit their wrongness and defiance of God’s Word…even their own god’s word…

You need to reexamine the evidence MW. Don’t look for information from radical muslim sites, they are bias! Go to refutable news organizations.
Which news organizations are those? CBS with Dan Rather? 😃

Shirk/blasphemy-associate partner with God , take deity besides God/ pray to someone else except God.
What if they believe they are killing kaffirs for Allah?
Islam does not say to Kill non-Muslims all the time . Jews & Christians used to visit Prophet at his mosque & returned back intact 🙂

In the war field , only killing enemies is allowed. If enemies want to hear the words of God , then Muslims must Escort them in to safe place so that they can know about God.

If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure that is because they are men without knowledge.” [Al-Quran 9:6]

When Muslims became oppressed , Prophet himself left his birthplace , many Muslims were tortured & murdered , then after long 13 years of the first revealation , permission was granted to fight back.

“To those against whom war is made, permission is given to fight because they are wronged . . . and verily God is most powerful for their aid.” (Qur’an 22:39)

Fight is not to kill innocent civilians but the opposite.

And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Men, women, and children, whose cry is: ‘Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Yourside one who will protect; and raise for us from Yourside one who will help!’) (An-Nisaa’ 4:75).

Does Islam Promote Violence?
