That is those who will make it there. I am trying.

Luke 24:35-48
While they were still incredulous for joy and were amazed, he asked them, “Have you anything here to eat?” They gave him a piece of baked fish; he took it and ate it in front of them.

Saint Augustine and Saint Aquinas thought there is no pooping in heaven. I can see angels not pooping but they do not have a glorified human body. Just wondering.

We just don’t know.

I would guess not, because there is no corruption or corrupt material in eternity. Also, there would be no bacteria to be purged from the body. But we just don’t know.

Are you kidding?!:rotfl:

if there is eating and drinking in heaven, it has to go somewhere, or you’ll burst.

Silly question.

If we do, I imagine it will smell like sweet perfume and immediately dissolve like snowflakes of love into the clouds upon which we stand.

I hope not. 😃

Speaking of which, I’m reminded of that time when I was a kid and thought that rain was caused by angels peeing. 😊

I would agree that in Heaven, there is no pooping. There are no bodies in Heaven, except for (1) Enoch, (2) Elijah, (3) Jesus, (4) Mary. However, that’s too simple of a response. Space and time are physical features of our universe. Heaven is not part of our universe. Whether there is spacetime in Heaven is anyone’s guess, but I certainly don’t think it’s necessary that Heaven has spacetime.

However, Heaven is not our final destination, but the New Earth (joined to the New Heaven) in Revelation 21. There, we will be resurrected, in bodies similar to that of Jesus after his resurrection (cf. 1 Corinthians 15). The voice of the throne in Rev 21:3 seems important here, saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with the human race. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them [as their God].” If God is dwelling with us, there may be no need for physical sustenance. That’s the only way that the elimination of predator-prey relationships in Isaiah 11 (leopard will lie down with the lamb) would seem to work.

Not necessarily, Falco…Whatever you eat & drink in Heaven should be only what is needed and fully absorbed into your body parts. God must have planned it that way from before the fall of Adam & Eve. Sin changed all that!

Just think of being in a group listening to Jesus on the Heavenly Throne, and leaving because you have to go to the bathroom.

I don’t think so!

I know it can seem like a silly question, but I think it is sort of an interesting theological thing to ponder. 🙂

Of course, ultimately we do not know. However, as our lower bodily functions are tied to waste removal, I imagine our glorified bodies will work perfectly and thus be able to use everything that we eat without producing waste. That’s somewhat similar to newborns who are exclusively breastfed. They can go a long time without a bowel movement simply because there is very little waste in what they are consuming.

Next topic: How many angels can dance on the head of a pin. 😃

So using the facilities is a consequence of the Fall. 😛

Yeah, there would be not corruption. Jesus ate in His glorified body, it seems as though the ones that make to Heaven will be able to eat as well in their glorified bodies.

I don’t think it will stink unless we would eat meat and it does not seem as though we would be killing and eating animals. I bet the food if we will be eating up there will be pretty good. Who knows what God has in store for us. It may be this great type of food that is really different from what we now have. 🙂

Oh, that’s interesting that our lower part is designed to eliminate everything. I was thinking that it was designed to eliminate but also to discard. And, given that it is designed in such a way and it will be a glorified human body, well it should do what it was and is designed to do. 🤷 🙂 How would you explain the anus if the lower part is designed to eliminate everything without discarding? 🙂

😃 I suppose then the question would be, would our glorified bodies even have such an opening if nothing need come out of it. :hmmm: Okay, now things are getting weird… 😛

I would think so. I don’t think God would change the design of the human body. It was one of the things with the Apostles - that it was a human body that was resurrected and glorified. Jesus ate and demonstrated this was the case.

Transportation will be greatly improved though, as we will be able to walk through things and probably think of being in a place and just be there.

 Every newborn that I ever breastfed pooped 24/7 and lots of it.
