Will we poop in Heaven?

There are insects – some even live on our skin – that consume everything they eat down to carbon dioxide and water vapor.

As this is just a matter of size (both the insect and the resurrectional body are limbed beings) God could reengineer the human body to this perfection of function.

 Every newborn that I ever breastfed pooped 24/7 and lots of it.
Our first was like that, but our second only pooped once a week. We were concerned and the doctor said it wasn’t uncommon in breastfed babies. Who knew? 😛

Scripture actually addresses this:
…the things that come out of a person are what defile him.”
-Mark 7:15
In Heaven, no one will be defiled. Therefore…nothing comes out;):D:D:D

this has always been a question of whether or not the heavenly realm is similar to that of earth in the sense that we do the things we would do here only in like a glorified amazing state that no evil can penetrate, this also questions whether or not there is sex in heaven, since we have bodies are we male and female, if we eat do we poo, stuff like that, my honest opinion is that its totally possible, perhaps heaven is not so different from earth other than the glorification of life and heavenly presecence itself, perhaps jesus doesnt mark far from the truth when he prayed,

as it is in heaven,

Not necessarily, Falco…Whatever you eat & drink in Heaven should be only what is needed and fully absorbed into your body parts. God must have planned it that way from before the fall of Adam & Eve. Sin changed all that!

Just think of being in a group listening to Jesus on the Heavenly Throne, and leaving because you have to go to the bathroom.

I don’t think so!
Thats what I was thinking, we may eat and drink in heaven ( or we may not?), but our bodies wont be the same as the ones we have right now, plus there will be no time, the way our digestive system works here, it relies on time.

If Im wrong though, heaven would need to have some kind of ‘public’ waste system like any other city, somehow I just do not see heaven being like that though.

Regarding the taste of food though…if there is food in heaven, it would be the best thing we have ever tasted, never goes bad (another thing that takes time), I bet the 5000 people Jesus fed on earth got a taste of heavenly food, as Jesus basically made the food materialize out of nothing, implying it kind of came from heaven.

In Heaven there is no pooping, that’s clear
That’s why we do it here
And when were gone from here
Our friends will all be pooping here.

Your poem is a clear take-off on the song…

“In Heaven there is no Beer
That’s why we drink it here
So when we’re gone from here
All our friends will be drinking our beer.” - Frankie Yankovich

I was hoping somebody would get it!

There won’t be sex in Heaven…

Jesus said, Matt.22 : 30 “at the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, they will be like the angels in heaven.”

…and it’s logical there won’t be pooping either!

Ah, wait there… Does it really say there wasn’t going to be sex in heaven with that statement? With that, I’m not saying that there is going to be sex, but just stating that what you said is a stretch of words. It doesn’t say “no sex” specifically. It just says people won’t marry not be given in marriage. By the way, what is the difference between those two- “marry” or “given in marriage”… why the two delineations?

As far as pooping in heaven… have no idea, but I’d have to say no. I assume this because with certain saints, they did not have to eat because Jesus was their food. I’d assume too if they were not eating earthly food they were also not eliminating it either. This scenario would be a glimpse into heaven.

Ask Jesus what He meant “marry or given in marriage”… why the two delineations?

How can there be sex in heaven if there is no marriage? Fornication without marriage is SIN, so why are you calling it a “stretch of words” to say no sex?

As I said before, I didn’t say I thought there would be sex in heaven. I don’t know. I was merely questioning the fact that people associate that statement quoted* to mean more than it does*, I.E:** It doesn’t specify or specifically say anything other than people won’t be given in marriage or marry.**. which I’ve come to find out those deliniations and that whole phrase mean that its not a business contract type stuff like that we have here on earth. Back then, marriage was more of a business contract… That’s the purpose of the two delineations… because women were given in marriage and men just married - meaning they would find a suitable wife to help him on his journey in life and marry that woman.

If people are in heaven, and there is no sin in heaven, and all of the people in heaven are holy, therefore whatever they’d do would be holy. ******Sex is not evil. ****** People in holy marriages have sex and its not at all evil. What if you were married and were devout and holy person and you enjoyed making love to your spouse… you mean to say that in heaven you won’t get to do that anymore? I think not!!! ““What God has joined, let no man put asunder.”” … then why would God put something asunder that He has joined?

There is also the fact that in Holy Scripture, God refers to Himself as the Husband of His People. The language in Scripture describes the union of God’s people and God very much like the union between man and wife. I know its meant as a metaphor, but its just something to consider.

Why is it illogical to wonder if souls in their glorified bodies will poop? Jesus ate in His glorified body, why would I necessarily think that the food was consumed in His body 100%? Jesus ate in front of the Apostles and allowed them to touch Him exactly so they can witness that it was His human body that was raised.

We are human beings and we have been designed in a certain way. Yes, those who make it to heaven will receive their bodies glorified but what makes you so sure it will not have similar functions as it has now? Jesus used His mouth to speak and His eyes to see and His ears to Hear… and He ate fish.
