Wisconsin Ruling Allows Mail-in Ballots to Be Counted Without ‘Definitive’ Postmarks

I hope so, but I’ve heard that some jurisdictions are allowing up to two weeks after election day to count mail in ballots. If there are a lot, there could be a delay.
Twitter and Facebook are said to be preparing to respond if Trump prematurely declares victory or questions the election results.
 
I guess there could be a system whereby they are numbered and a person can make sure they are received.
It works like that for me. It has for some years.

Every ballot has an envelope with a barcode specific to that ballot. One can go online to confirm their ballot was received, and verify the votes were cast as intended.
 
I believe Franken wasn’t sworn in until July, shortening the period the Democrats had 60 votes needed for any healthcare passage. Kennedy died several months later closing any possibility of reconciliation between the House and Senate bills. So it was either the first draft of whatever the Senate passed or nothing. The rest is history.
