That’s a level that suits Trump because it’s the level at which he excels. Anyone who studies Trump’s tweets carefully must come away impressed by the way he has mastered the demagogic arts.

I am pretty sure that his followers will find an excuse for him. But then again, they would have found an excuse if he shot down someone on Fifth Avenue - in broad daylight. So sad!

Look, it’s all well and good for the NYT to declare the current president as a national tragedy or whatever.

But it ignores the very real reasons why so many people don’t want the democrat party in power.

Is the NYT or any other liberal-leaning entity willing to look honestly at the reasons we got here in the first place?

Well, I don’t like the democrats either. But the reason for that is different from yours - probably. Still, I will have to hold my nose and vote for the democrats, because I also consider the Trump-party a disaster.

We got here because of the demagoguery of Trump, and because there are many people who don’t care about it… maybe even like it.

Oh, and let me be explicit: “I don’t care about abortions either way”. Abortions have been with us since the dawn of times, and will be with us for a long time. The only way to get rid of it would be having a full control over the reproductive process, when conception could only occur, if both parties would want it to happen.

And one more thing: “no woman ever willfully got pregnant because she wanted to have an abortion”.

Wrong.

We got here because the Democrats insistence on abortion and chipping away freedom of religion and their sneering contempt for one half of the country.

The belief he has done much for them is based on economism, the idea that economic causes and effects are the chief determine factor in life. Trump raised employment = minorities are better off in general.

Flagged. Mass murder of babies in the womb is a problem for the entire world, regardless of whether you or 99.999 percent of the population thinks it’s perfectly okay. Your cavalier attitude towards it does not speak well of your own moral compass.

Currently, freedom of religion is less threatened that in the past, but not out of the woods yet. During the Obama administration they sued the Little Sisters of the Poor! Think about that…the government sued a group of nuns to force them to pay for contraception despite it contradicting the tenets of their faith!

There are other examples where governments force people of faith to violate their deeply held beliefs, but I’ll just leave you with the one above.
