I agree, a message from the heart. We are truly blessed to have Pope Francis leading our church!
 
Now, what is your parish doing about going out and evangelizing? Mine is not doing anything different.
 
I’m confused as to why someone would rate this thread (or subject) one star. There’s nothing controversial in Pope Francis’s speach…
 
I’m very excited about Pope Francis.
Evangelism will strengthen the faithful, even if they don’t make converts directly.

“A Church that does not go out of itself, sooner or later, sickens from the stale air of closed rooms,” the Pope wrote.
