Wives? Do you pack a lunch for your DH every workday?

Nope - my DH has a job where lunch is provided for him (lucky him, I know)!
 
I too pack my DH’s lunch everyday, only on occasion will he buy lunch. (he is a teacher so school lunches are not so great). I an tell you this, that the poll so far surprised me. I didnt really expect to see as many wives pack their husbands lunches. My DH says he knows no one at his work who packs their husbands lunches, and I personally dont know any either. I wonder if the count on the poll would be as high among if it wasnt on a Catholic forum? hmmm what do you think?

My husband has had a similar experience of being just about the only person at his small company to pack a lunch (or rather, have one packed by wifey). And he is, coincidentally, the only Catholic in his company! Also, many of the other people in his company are from dual-income families, so they have plenty of disposable income to spend on eating out every day (and a lack of time to pack lunches, too, I guess). There is only one other guy (out of about 20 employees) whose wife stays at home with their young children, and he’s very interested in talking about Catholicism with my husband. It even seems like he might convert. So it must be the Catholic Factor 🙂
 
I work for him. The least he could do is buy me lunch a couple of times a week. Otherwise, we go home & eat & watch TV for a couple of hours. We have a 2 hour break each day, & we live just over a mile from our office. It’s one of the few perks. 😃

I don’t pack anyone’s lunch.

I home school, so our son eats at home. Something that I make him, but it never gets packed.

My husband works close, so he also eats at home. Most of the time he eats the same thing that our son eats. And the same thing that I eat. It is a family lunch, just like dinner.

There is nothing like a home cooked, hot meal to keep you going during the day. 👍 And we love seeing him mid day. If for some reason, he doesn’t come home, we miss him. 😦

I was about to write the exact same thing. Instead, I’ll just quote maryjk.

This is an easy one. I make him and the kids breakfast and lunch and dinner everyday (unless he is out of town:crying: ). I try to be very careful and make it healthy. We really only eat out on vacation and love to have family and friends over for meals. He does so much for our family, if there is anything I can do to show him how much I love and am grateful to him, you bet I will.
 
I am lucky enough to have my hubby home for lunch everyday! He works less than 2 miles from our home. On the rare occasion that he stays at work, yes, I pack for him!

I pack for my school age son everyday.
 
Every day he wants the EXACT same thing:

1 p.b. & j sandwhich
1 baggie of carrot and celery sticks
1 banana
1 apple

BORING!!!
