Greg,

Sorry, but I don’t see the supposed evidence you are seeing. My priest today can certainly call our female music liturgical director, a “fellow worker in Christ” without implying that she had a ministerial role equivalent to his as an ordained priest. Yes, women in NT times had ministerial roles, just as they do today. But they were distinct from that of men. I suggest you compare your exegesis of St. Paul’s passage in Romans to his other passages regarding the role of women in the Church (cf. 1 Tim 2:12).

I have always felt the best argument against women Priestesses (other than theological) are the women themselves who are clammoring for ordination.

Assuming they are Christians, I wonder what Protestant sect these women represent?

Yes, I had already studied further and I do see what you mean. Once again, I see that the true Church is correct.

Myrr,

The address you gave is regulated by a man who left the Priesthood.

He is an ex-Priest. Do you want to follow an ex-priest?

Martin Luther was an ex-Priest. There are hundereds of reasons already given for not ordaining women to the priesthood. Holy Mother Church knows best!:tsktsk:

There has never been a female bishop, priest or deacon. :bigyikes:

Those pictures posted earlier and the miscontexting of ancient manuscripts and scripture reveal the depths of delusion and disception in world today.

God is repulsed by the sin of those who claim for themselves the priesthood yet refuse to accept the authority of his ordained. Leading a rebellion against the priests of God will end in hell fireJude 11 and Numbers 16

Pray for those who refuse to humbly accept the will of God found in His Church’s teaching because they imperil their souls.

God Bless

The best one was the one given by the Vatican, " we do not ordain women, because we do not have the authority to do so."

Betcha a double-espresso iced latte that they’re Episcopalians.

There is a really thorough explanation for why women can’t be ordained to the priesthood in the book, Why Matter Matters by David Lang (Our Sunday Visitor).

Dear friends

How is it possible for a daughter of God to then mediate as the **Son **of God???

Doesn’t seem possible at all to me!!!

God Bless you and much love and peace to you

Teresa
