Woman says Roy Moore initiated sexual encounter when she was 14, he was 32

That isn’t fair. My wife’s great grandfather’s and great grandmother’s age match up with those here. He wasn’t a molestor. Things were different back then, but that doesn’t mean men today who date women that much younger are molestors.
I didn’t say it did. I said that I would be more likely to immediately believe a molestation accusation against a man like Moore who in his 30s regularly sought out teenaged girls for sexual relationships than against one who doesn’t.

Yes, I totally believe that the democratic woman that happens to come up with magical allegations just before an election where the democrats were about to lose by a landslide is a republican.
I’m glad you believe the Democratic accuser. Since you do I imagine you believe the two accusers who are Republicans too.
Well, except against Trump and the 847538457 women who suddenly came up with their allegations, too. Isn’t it surprising how they disappeared the moment they noticed they weren’t effective?
I see you’re unaware of the lawsuits.

My mother, and many people to whom I talked to privately any years ago also told me you are a child rapist. I say it, so it must be true. Isn’t this what makes a fact for you?
Cool. Give dates, names, and half a dozen independent interviews to a journalist each and you’ve got yourself a story! You can contact any news outlet and your local law enforcement to help bring him to justice!

That is, of course, if it was true.

The one thing that is clear is that any notion of moral superiority by Moore supporters is just for show. This is tribalism, pure and simple. Bill Clinton bad because of accusations, but Roy Moore good because, well, I guess despite his predilection for teenagers in his 30s (because, you know, that was totally alright in 1AD or 1899), you know, he stands up for Christian values!

You are right he is not the only one. There seems to be a correlation between democrats losing an election and mysterious women coming up out of nowhere with no evidence. There also seems to be a correlation with modernism, atheism and anti-christianity and the blind defense of said allegations.

What a huge coincidence.

I can’t wait until the next presidential elections, where 100 women will suddenly come up 5 days before voting, with their stories that must be true, because they said so. Truly bright times await us.
Weinstein and Spacey are both Democrats, and that didn’t stop the NYT from outing them for their behavior. I have no more sympathy for Moore than I do for Spacey, Weinstein, Louis CK or anyone else getting outed. For those running for public office, if they’ve done these sorts of things in their past, well, that’s the risk they take. But in Moore, like Weinstein, we have an added layer of hypocrisy, in that they claimed to have stood for certain values (Weinstein for feminism, Moore for socially conservative Christianity), and in both cases in turns out they are hypocrites, that their private conduct is diametrically opposed to their public declarations.

But if you want to support Moore, then so be it, and I’ll keep it in mind if you ever come out swinging about Bill Clinton (who, by the way, didn’t mess around with underage or barely legal females).
