Who cares about sex appeal when you’re that comfy, though?

Never worn a flight suit but they look like pajamas…

Ever worn a g suit?

It looks constricting. It’s for fighter pilots and it’s supposed to prevent passing out during high g maneuvers. I knew a number of F15 pilots when I was in the Air Force and they said flight suits were not as comfortable as they looked especially when paired with g suits.

A pilot will give up his flight suit over his own dead body. Trust me. They love their Nomex.

Pilots don’t walk around in G-suits, though. They had to pass a reg to restrict when the bag suits can be worn - because they were being worn inappropriately.

They LOVE them.

Men lie. 😆😆😆😆

Nope, never have. I’m sure they’re not fun though. But I’ve worn body armor in 120 degree heat, so I might trade that for a g suit. 😆

Ceremonial uniforms are more impressive than operational uniforms I think.
Your F15 buds would disagree. Our dress uniform is awful. A flight suit I’m sure gets more notice.

My four best friends are long-term USAF flyers - two F16 drivers, a C17 driver, and an A10 driver. They all have flight suit stories. 😆😆

I’m surprised that the only differences you chose to speak of have to do with sex. You realize that my question was, “What, if any, differences do you see between men, in general, and women, in general?” - Right?

That was what I said, yes:
You wrote, "Certainly Fide can answer for himself. I don’t think he’s saying that women don’t lust at all, only that he believes it is more of an issue for men than women. "

Most responses were about proclaiming that women lust “as much as” men - not exactly a response to what I was trying to say.

We do.
"Certainly Fide can answer for himself. I don’t think he’s saying that women don’t lust at all, only that he believes it is more of an issue for men than women. "
It’s not. It’s the same issue - but experienced differently.

no. I do believe that women are called to be holy as are men, and yet the woman’s call is different because she is designed by God for motherhood - and motherhood, motherliness, is a totally different vocation in the sight of God, than men have from Him. Women have a role very very close to LIFE - intimately close to life - conceiving, guarding and nurturing in the womb so intimately, so personally, and “mothering” through childhood really for the rest of her life. The gifts given her by God that enable this in her are special, and are not given to men.

Because she is so close to LIFE, her call to holiness and purity, in imitation of God Himself, is more profound. In “the old days”, men instinctively accorded women a deference, a reverence, an honor that was instinctively realized as DUE her, because of her holy role in the family and in society and in humanity itself.

Sin degrades men and sin degrades women - men expect it of other men, men do not want to see it in a woman. She is special.

I was thinking of the British army, the Household Cavalry in particular. Have you seen them?

I’m sure those uniforms are uncomfortable but they sure do fit the ceremonial look.

Many times. Being married to a Brit I’ve seen most of that stuff over there.

The US military overall doesn’t really have a ceremonial uniform. We did away with those eons ago. Even the Marine dress uniform is just that - their “dress blues” as we say.

My BIL lives right across town from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Even their cadet uniforms are better than ours, LOL. But I felt better when I saw Prince William’s RAF dress uniform. I feel his pain when he stands next to Harry in his Royal Army one. 🙂

Prince William is Colonel of the Irish Guards. He can wear the Irish Guards uniform.

I think he got married in that Irish Guards uniform.

Know any F22 drivers?

I had the chance to work on the F22 back in my old job.

Unfortunately no. Just Falcon drivers, Warthog drivers, and a few moose guys. The Moose drivers came in from Elmendorf all the time while I was in Korea and the fighter guys worked at the CAOC there. We used to all get crab legs on Fridays at the O Club.

I was thinking more along the lines of the straight up dress blues for their services. The Royal Army uniform looks nothing like the RAF uniform…much as with ours. LOL. I always think, William - I get it, man.

Maybe because the topic of the thread is sex rather than say, average height, or average tone of voice.

You do realise that sex is often an important part of bearing a child, right fide?

And I think that last paragraph nailed your issue on the head. You expect, and thus give allowance, for men to be sinful. But you don’t want to see that in women so you shut your ears to all the women telling you that they too experience lust as much as men.

Yep. So we’re back to the virgin/whore debacle.
