Women priest 'ordinations' cause disunity, says Florida diocese [CNA]

So says the first rule of the Spiritual Exercises, “All judgment laid aside, we ought to have our mind ready and prompt to obey, in all, the true Spouse of Christ our Lord, which is our holy Mother the Church Hierarchical.”

In the thirteenth rule of the Spiritual Exercises St. Ignatius says it in a most beautiful way, because it is an exaggeration, but St. Ignatius uses a hyperbole precisely to reveal the force of this principle: **“To be right in everything, we ought always to hold that the white which I see, is black, if the Hierarchical Church so decides it” **Consider this: I see the wall as white but the Magisterium of the Church tells me it is black: it is black! And St. Ignatius gives the reason for this: “believing that between Christ our Lord, the Bridegroom, and the Church, His Bride, there is the same Spirit which governs and directs us for the salvation of our souls; because by the same Spirit and our Lord Who gave the ten Commandments, our holy Mother the Roman Catholic Church is directed and governed.”

Here, here. Let the media do what they will. WE shouldn’t acknowledge this. True Catholics however, do need to learn how to deal with the media. Turn it back on them (the media). “Don’t know what you are talking about”. WE don’t ordain women, must be non-Catholics, and definintely a heresy.

The vast majority of Catholics will ignore them, as they should. The women have cut themselves off from the Church and will have ‘hell’ to pay…no pun intended.

True. but only those who persevere until the end will be saved. we are going through the tests of time. our Lord says: “my sheep will know my voice and come when I Call.”

how do we know the voice of our Lord? we follow the holy father with humble hearts.

Yes you are right about the high percentage of “catholics” who dissent from the Magisterium and therefore agree with these women apostates but it has been my experience that truly devout Catholics (daily Mass, Rosary, etc) are 100% orthodox and absolutely faithful to the Magisterium. I have never met a truly devout Catholic that holds these type of disloyal positions but I have met plenty of “cafeteria catholics” (the majority of catholics unfortunately) that hold these heretical views. In my humble opinion, complete and absolute loyalty to the Magisterium (orthodoxy) is a gift from the Holy Spirt that is given only to truly faithful Catholics. These “cafeteria catholics” are in reality protestants but don’t have the backbone to admit it.

it is a gift from God and also is a matter of obedience. how many out there knows anything about obedience? it is all about what i want. we are living in horrible times. by the way, i live not too far from where this is happening. the situation down here is not very good for Catholics. they are so far way from the Tradition of the Church that is no small matter. some of us who knows the Faith are suffering due to the lack of holy and faithfull priest.

Thanks be to God i can get to a beautifully celebrated Mass on a Sunday; a TLM Solemn High Mass celebrated by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter. The love and respect between the laity and the priests (in both directions) is palpable.

The last straw that sent me off to the TLM was an argument with two silly beggars (men) outside the (very ugly entertainment centre type) church after Mass one Sunday re “priestesses”. Both were adament that there would be “priestesses” within 20 years, and their belief was set in granite. Being told that the Church is the Bride of Christ, and all that follows from that, made no difference. Priesthood = Spiritual Fatherhood: same thing. Both of them are in their late 50s/early60s, so they should know better. Lousy catechesis,;not knowing, and not wanting to know. Deceived by the radical feminists.

Off topic, but:
Because the local Friday morning primary school Mass (OF) more or less degenerated into a circus, i had to stop going. Used to leave the church feeling cranky and frustrated.
Mass on other weekdays was moved to the pokey little so called “Eucharistic Chapel”. Obsession with “Community Meal”. Horizontal, instead of Vertical. So from Mass most days of the week, its now just the one. Some of us just cant “offer it up”.

It makes you sick, and you have my EMPATHY.
