Women "Priests" in the news . . . How do we feel about this?

Forgive me if someone already posted this quote (I don’t feel like reading 8 pages!). I heard Father Corapi once address the topic of women priests rather eloquenty:

“I may never be a mother. You may never be a priest. GET OVER IT.”

Let women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted them to speak, but to be subject, as also the law saith. But if they would learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is a shame for a woman to speak in the church.

A woman’s ministry is to her family and to teach the faith to her children.

A woman cannot act in the person of christ…a man can

A woman priest would be in a homosexual union with the church.

Anyone who understands the theology of the body and its relationship to the sacramental priesthood the same way the church officiallly understands it wouldn’t need to ask the question.

None of the Levitical priests were women…

It never was…and never will be.

You can babble on and on and on about the false idea of a Preistess but 10,000 years from now you will see taint gonna happen.

I know some friends of mine that are women. They say women should be priests. But guess what… they haven’t been practicing Catholics for YEARS. And it has nothing to do with the fact that women aren’t ordained.
It’s more of I’ll do what I want and I don’t have to listen to anyone. Then they wonder why they aren’t married or have a solid relationship… they don’t want to meet anyone in the middle or work at anything.

My point is, many people will say they want women priests, but most aren’t going to found in the pews on Sunday morning.

Those people wont return to the church until the entire thing…including God has been made into our own image. (which of course will never happen)
