The hardest part of marriage is after the kid have gone you have a long way to go .

Been married for 25 years, have two daughters, and grew up with 3 sisters , I have PTSD .

I know how to survive . I only give women a hard time on line . Lol
Please be careful with sarcasm…in a text only format it’s hard to tell and I certainly thought you were being serious. Some men and women have very strong opinions on the opposite sex and will act like their view is the only one that’s right!

Whereas, most people realize that tastes in the opposite sex run the whole range of various tastes. My husband thinks I’m at my sexiest when in jeans and flannel shirts with a fishing pole in my hands! If I also have some worms in my pocket, he’s completely ecstatic!😜

Where I live I notice the culture is different, Connie Chung was Chinese, if I am remembering correctly.

I think back in the 70s and 80s many anchors wore suits with shoulder pads and skinny little bow ties. Every one of them seemed to dress like that.

Yes, especially when a woman is already tall. I’m almost 5’9, and men didn’t particularly like when I wore heels if it made me appear taller than they are.
well, they do sell heels tall enough that you’d catch me in my bare feet . . . there’s even a few women that can walk in 6" heels . . but once I put on my boots . . . (we laugh sometimes about my heels being higher than anything my wife wears . . .)
I wear “'organ shoes” (mens’) to play organ.
heart or liver?

You might also try a leather soled leather boot; they adjust far better to foot size and shape, and are available in wide sizes. But then, they might have too much heel for an injured foot.

Female anchors and reporters have dressed differently during different decades.
I’ve learned to largely tune out televised news when my wife watches it; it absolutely drives me nuts, and I couldn’t tell you what the anchors are wearing, nor whether they are mail or female.

But weather here in the Mojave desert is a big deal, and I tend to look up for that.

I had thought that meteorologists had taken over, but it seems that the “weather girls” are back. Whichever station it is, the primary qualification seems to be filling out a tight dress well.

I suppose it could be that the top meteorology degree programs are all overrun with bright slim busty women, but I’m skeptical . . .

Yes I do. Trust me.
Obviously you don’t speak for Prince Charles, Lyle Lovett or Danny Moder (to whom Julia Roberts has been happily married for 18 years) at the very least. So I have no reason to trust you.

Naw…let the guys wear the ties, especially the beautiful silk ones with their professional suits…as for me, well a beautiful scarf will complete any attire. Women should dress in a feminine way and be presentable…oh, it’s great to be a woman and wear all those nice dresses, scarves, jewelry, and those heels. Women be proud of who you are…and look the part! 👠
I met my wife 15 years ago, we’ve been a couple for 10 years, married for 6 years in December. In that time she has never worn a dress or a skirt or anything that could remotely be called heels. She’s worn a tie for work many times however, but by your arbitrary standards she isn’t feminine enough.
