No where does it say that these men rose again. In fact, it says that God himself burried Moses.

Did Jesus LIE? If not, then the Apostles did. If they lied about the crucifixion, how can I trust any of the New Testement? Since the New Testement is fortold in the Old, is it suspect as well?

Guess what? IF the Bible is not to be trusted, there is no reason to accept the Qur’an. By discounting the Bible, you reduce its characters to simple mythology. That makes the Qur’an more mythology since it uses the same names and some of the same events.

Jesus reveales the Father and it is the Father who reveals the Son. Jesus teaches this many times.
Matthew 11

27 All things are delivered to me by my Father. And no one knoweth the Son, but the Father: neither doth any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom it shall please the Son to reveal him.

This was demonstrated when the Father infused Peter with a knowing of Jesus that could only be known by the Father. Jesus as a father’s son.

Anyway this is how Jesus approached the revelation of Himself to those around Him. The Father allowed some around Jesus during His earthly life to know Jesus as the Father does and they are given to Jesus from the Father.

Words are not sublime eneogh to reveal Divinity. I mean if a person were really God their divinity would have to be distinguishable in profound ways. If not, then saying, ’ I am God’
has nothing to validate it and renders it a useless thing to bother doing.

This attitude towards the revelation of Himself is sublime therefore it permeates the Gospels.

Paarsuay, If God were to become a human person imagine for yourself how it would be and you might see the way Jesus behaved is very fitting.

I think it is a mistake of our Christian friends to make Jesus a god; like our Hindu friends have made Krishna a god, in my opinion.

But for Paul/s ; Jesus followers would have never taken Jesus to be a god, in my opinion. Matthew, Marks and Luke did not mention that Word has become flesh. You might have spoken many words in your life. Did you ever see that any of your Word has become flesh? Your Word would have even never smelt like flesh. It is your tongue and lips and your throat made of flesh that help one to make words, and of course the teeth made of bones, that helps to make the words. The reverse phenomenon never happens, in my opinion.

It is just a mistake of John, or those who wrote for John that they thought otherwise, in my opinion.

Ralph, we understand and agree to everything in the four gospels even though they are not so reliable. But still whatever is there has to be seen and believed. Let us forget about any problems of the NT. Now please turn to something in the bible OT that was to be fulfilled. Bring in something which you think was foretold in the bibleOT which was fulfilled.

We believe Jesus was right when he said that all things told in the bibleOT were being true and fulfilled. But he could be meaning (pointing) to something else. Not what you are assuming.
