God gave us the ten commandments and summed them up with the two great commandments to love God with all our hearts and love our neighbor as ourselves. Then God commanded the people to write the commandments on their forehead and right hand.
In Revelation, the third angle tells us that it is those who obey God’s commandments and do good works who have faith in Jesus Christ. The third angle tells us it is these people who are obedient to God’s commandments who are not those with the mark of the beast.
To write God’s law on your mind is the implication of writing His commandments on your forehead. Your arm is your strength in battle or at work. To write God’s law on your arm implicates that you are obeying Him with all your strength. To write God’s law on your heart and soul is also part of the Great Commandment.
When looking for those with the mark of the beast it only makes sence to look amongst those who do not have obedience to God’s commandments as a priority.
**NAB DEU 11:18 **
“Therefore,
take these words of mine into your heart and soul. Bind them at your wrist as a sign, and let them be a pendant on your forehead. Teach them to your children, speaking of them at home and abroad, whether you are busy or at rest. And write them on the doorposts or your houses and on your gates, **so that, as long as the heavens are above the earth, you and your children may live on in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers he would give them.” ****“For if you are careful to observe all these commandments I enjoin on you, loving the LORD, your God, and following his ways exactly, and holding fast to him,…” **
**NAB REV 14:9 **
“If anyone worships the beast or its image, or** accepts its mark on his forehead or hand**, he too will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger. He will be tormented in burning sulphur before the Lamb, and the smoke of their torment shall rise forever and ever.
There shall be no relief day or night for those who worship the beast or its image or accept the mark of its name.”
This is what sustains the holy ones, who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. I heard a voice from heaven say to me: “write this down: Happy now are the dead who die in the Lord!” The Spirit added, "Yes, they shall find rest from their labors, for their good works accompany them."
Do not listen to the false prophets who tell you that you do not have to have God’s commandments spiritually written on your forehead (mind) and strength (arm) for salvation.
NAB MAR 10:17
"Good Teacher,
what must I do to share in everlasting life?" Jesus answered, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.
You know the commandments:
**'You shall not kill;…”
**
NAB LUK 10:25
"Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?" Jesus answered him: "What is written in the law? How do you read it?" He replied:
**“You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart,…”
**
NAB MAT 24:11
False prophets will rise in great numbers to mislead many. Because of the increase in evil, the love of most will grow cold. The man who holds out to the end, however, is the one who will see salvation.
