Worried I’m messing up in Confession

I don’t how else to say this. Do not give a celibate man details of your sexual sins even in the context of confession unless he asks for them. He does not need details.

Your confessor acts in persona Christi. Trust to the Lord’s mercy; if he needs more details from you, he will certainly ask.

Thanks again, ironically shortly after I responded too you I unexpectedly went to confession with my school. I took it as a sign and was a little more forthcoming, the priest was actually very receptive and we ended up having a very productive discussion.
