GiftofMercy: Not that you will, but please do not succumb to any temptation to beat yourself up over this! The world, as you can see, will gladly do that for you! I enjoy being right, but I learn when I am wrong. That is a good thing.

Interesting that, after first posting, the OP is M.I.A.

At to the thread title, God really does not care how we worship the Eucharist - sitting, kneeling, prostrate - as long as we worship!

As to the catechism, virtually 100% of the questions asked here could easily be answered by consulting even a pocket catechism, or a compendium, or even the real thing.

How do you know this? It seems rather presumptuous to me. If, before I show up to make a visit, I take the time to comb my hair, wash off the dirt and grime on my face and hands from my job, does God not care? It seems He would care. It certainly is a sign of respect for Him, and He wants what is best for me, which is to respect and worship him as well as I can.

If the Pope was in my parish Church holding audiences, how would I appear? What respect would I show him? Isn’t God worthy of the better? Isn’t it best for me if I show Him better.

While I tend to agree, I would think that perhaps there are many who do all these things, yet perhaps in their hearts they don’t have the proper respect and reverence for the Eucharist. JMO, but I would think that’s more hurtful to God than a wrinkle shirt or sitting when one should be kneeling.

I do not disagree as to what would be more hurtful to God (lets grant each other the luxury of using that anthropomorphic phase for purely linguistic purposes). I just think that God cares how we worship Him. Indeed, God cares about how we do every little thing in our life.
