Mehmet Ali Agca, who wounded Pope John Paul II in a 1981 assassination attempt, has requested a meeting with Pope Benedict when he travels to Fatima next month.

More…
 
Considering he’s tried to assaninate one pope and called for the resignation of another, I doubt anyone at the Vatican will even consider his request.
