Would the church help support my choice for guardianship of my children?

I’ve taken the legal steps for setting up guardianship for my children, but I am worried that if it came to a legal battle, and it defiantly could, my choice might not be upheld. My sister is a practicing Catholic, but unmarried. Both of my husband’s brothers are married but one couple is Wiccan and the other agnostics, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want my children to be raised by either couple. Would or could the church get involved in a possible custody battle? Does anyone know if there is anything I could do now that could help make sure my wishes are followed?

Why would the Church get involved? I can’t imagine the Church taking sides either way, and certainly not in support of the Wiccan or Agnostic couples?

Why do you think the other couples would insist on having custody? Most people like to go on their merry way with their own lives and not raise someone else’s kids. 🤷

I am sorry I think I was not clear enough. I don’t want either married couple to get guardianship of my children; I want my unmarried sister, who yes has agreed to take custody, to raise them if needed. My worry is that - because these are the only children in my in-laws family and because my MIL has a good amount of money, but is too old to raise them, she would throw her support behind one of her other sons in an attempt to subvert our choice in the courts. I was wondering if the church would help my sister (the practicing catholic) in a fight against the Wiccans and/or the agnostics. Kind of like the American Indian Tribes fighting for children of AI heritige to be raised in American Indian families and not outside the tribe.

OH, I see. That is a good question, but probably one that is best answered by the person who drew up the legal documents?

I thought though, if you assigned someone legally, it’s a done deal? Hopefully your sister would allow the children to see the rest of their family members? That would go a long way to keeping the peace.

Hopefully it would never to come to any of this though.
