Hello,
I’m an amateur photographer, but if I may say so, I’ve got a pretty clever eye. Not to mention the SWEET new SLR I’m getting for Christmas this year from Santa.
Anyway, I have always been drawn to photos of people living a religious life - nuns, priests and deacons.
I was thinking about doing photo essays on local religious people. These would be accompanied by brief interviews and I would post them on my blog and maybe even submit them to the local paper (they do articles on people of interest).
My thinking is that people don’t really understand exactly WHAT these people do. And maybe if I can show the world that these men and women are donig God’s work, and that they’re happy doing it, maybe someone’s heart will be opened to hear their true calling.
Opinions?
