After reading some of the hateful vituperation spewed against her, the only reason I wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton is because I’m concerned that she would be the first presidential candidate to be assasinated.

Of course the right would REALLY have a fit if she were made a martyr. Poor Hillary…she just can’t win.

Well a number of high ranking Democrats feel the same way so from your mouth to God’s ear.

I did not vote in the poll. The option I would’ve voted for was not there…

If Hillary changes her stance on:
abortion
gay marriage
stem-cell research
and abandons most of her liberal ideals, then yes, it is conceivable that I may some day vote for her.

as she stands now, no chance whatsoever.

Oh my, you feel sorry for her? Are you Catholic? Do you have any sorrow over all the abortions that take place every day in our country? I know Hillary endorses them. She embraces them. At least she did last spring when Planned Parenthood marched in Washington. She is a progressive liberal that is now calculating just how to appear more religious to trick some red voters. You should look for pictures of her coming out of church over the next four years. By the time the election takes place she will fit the part, but it will be veneer.

Just came across this poll…

Unless she changes… a lot… I mean became a totally new person…

If she became President I think I would call my uncle in New Zealand, and let him know he would have a visitor for the next four years. 🙂

I vote for Hillary Clinton to run far, far away. 👍

I remember when Bill & Hillary were running for the White House in '92, they were being interviewed on nat. tv, and Hil was sporting long hair pulled back in a black headband like a school girl. I’m guessing they were trying to look young - the “youth ticket” or something. I just thought she looked like Rebecca deMornay in “The Hand that Rocks the Cradle” - very scary!

Well, after they won the election, I kept referring to her as “The Hand that Rocks the White House.” Remember how she kept saying she had no politcal ambitions back then? Yeah, right!

I just got off the phone with my niece - she is serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq. She had e-mailed me 2 pics. The 1st is of her and other N.Y. troops with Hilary. The only person smiling is Hilary. My niece said she literally had them lined up ahead of time, jumped off the plane, smiled for the photo-op and jumped back on the plane. The 2nd is of her and John McCain - both smiling. She said he stayed and had some good conversations. She’s 19 - the impression she got - John’s cool, Hil’s a fool. By the way, she had a similar description of that Italian journalist “hostage” - it started with a “b” but then she controlled herself…

I’m still waiting for all those jobs that Mrs. Clinton promised us. I think those jobs all went south with our brightest.

No, I will not vote for her. I don’t hate her. IMO, her soul is in danger. I think that we should pray for her conversion.

My initial feeling is NO but it would have to depend on who she was running against. Hillary’s public statements regarding abortion have been much more conservative these days.

besides the obvious answer, pro-choice, i have never understood why so many vehemently despise hilary.
Because she is more corrupt than her husband. Check out the following scandals: Travelgate, Filegate, White Water Billing Records, and currently her own campaign finance scandal. Hillary is at the root of all of these scandals. Unfortunately, she has never paid the price.

A top Hollywood promoter named Peter Paul organized and financed a gala fund raiser for her Senate campaing. Campaign finance laws were violated. She said that she did not know who Peter Paul is, yet I have seen photos of her with Peter Paul.

She is a flat out lier and corrupt just like her husband.

Watch her move to the right in preparation for a run for President.

God help this country if she wins.

Yeah, and she’s found religion, too, I bet.

Talk is cheak. She hasn’t STOOD for anything. You know why Kerry lost?? HIS RECORD. Her record has earned her the HIGHEST rating from pro-abortion advocates.

I worked for the Resolution Trust Corporation’s Office of Inspector General during the Bush 41 and Clinton administrations. The RTC was set up by Congress under Bush 41 to bail out failed savings and loan institutions. Does anyone remember the Whitewater/Madison Savings scandal that was at the root of the Kenneth Starr investigation? Senator Clinton–then with the Rose Law Firm–was deeply involved with the chicanery of the McDougals. The Whitewater shenanigans cost the US taxpayers more than $50 million. The RTC Inspector General performed an audit of the Rose Law Firm and found evidence that Hillary Clinton, as attorney for Madison Savings, lied to RTC officials. A draft report was written that implicated Mrs. Clinton in the fraud that led to Madison Savings’ failure, but the final report deleted the reference to Mrs. Clinton’s questionable activities. Remember, the audit was done during Bill Clinton’s presidency. Do you also recollect how the Rose Law Firm billing records disappeared for about 2 years and then suddenly reappeared in the White House living quarters? Cattle futures, anyone? The bottom line is that Senator Clinton cannot be trusted to tell the truth or to act honestly. She’s now trying to “triangulate” (a Dick Morris term) like Bill Clinton did in 1996 to get reelected. A vote for Hillary Clinton would be a vote for the blindest of ambitions, devoid of any ethical standards.

On a lighter note,

How can you vote for someone who brings a book to read at a football game?

Can’t vote, but that doesn’t stop me from putting my oar in :o

She would probably be a good leader, but with the Democrats stance on abortion, that swings my opinion for me, abortion is top of my list, so “NO” I wouldn’t vote for her.

I think the question, in my case, is better phrased “Could your vote in the 2008 Presidential Election help Hillary Rodham Clinton to become the next President of the United States of America?”

In a word, “Yes.” Here’s why.

I will not vote for the Republican candidate in 2008 because that person will be a “moderate” (i.e., liberal, pro-Terri’s murder, pro-abortion in cases of “rape, incest, or when a woman’s life is in so-called danger,” pro-artificial birth control, pro-embryonic stem cell research, anti opposition to the Democratic filibuster, etc.). I will never vote for a Democratic candidate in any election no matter who they offer. Therefore, should I vote, my vote will be a vote of conscience. Probably for the Constitutionalist candidate (perhaps Michael Peroutka if he runs).

Since my vote would have been cast for the Republican candidate had they offered a true conservative, and I will not be doing so, there will be one less vote for the Republican candidate. Hillary, the Democratic candidate, will not be harmed by my vote, since I would not have casted a vote for her anyway (even if she were to become a Republican and feign traditional moral and social ethical values).

Do I think Hillary will be our next President? Yes, and she will win by a landslide. We will have a Democrat controlled House and Senate by then, both won back in 2006 elections. The Dems will have succeeded in pushing the “Republican majority” around on the judicial nomination process and will be able to install whomever they want. The economy will be tanking due to Soros’ efforts. Not to mention the disaster that the Bush and his “neo-con” cronies will have brought upon us in the area of foreign policy by that time.

America…In Law We Trust

NO, NO, NO!!! The “smartest woman in the world”, who used the typical “I do not recall” Clintonista responses in her Congressional testimony, now is abandoning her liberal leanings and is moving towards the center…but for how long? I’ll never forget her hubby in his first day of office signing pro-abortion directives with the pro-death hags of the abortion lobby smiling at his side like the cat who swallowed the canary. I’m sure we’d see the same arrogance as soon as she is sworn in. For the sake of unborn children everywhere, please God, we can’t afford to lose anymore ground in the administrative branch or the judicial branch.
