I understand you have some issues that are probably hard to deal with. But no one here on this thread made ANY assusmptions about rugby players or anything like that, only you. My point is that if People want to make assuptions, (which you did in a previous post) then that is thier mistake. It is also thier ignorance. I too have been harassed. Everyone has been harassed. Perhaps Catholics more than most.

But I don’t see anything wrong with being who you are. I doubt at this wedding there would be a shock or horor about a rugby conversation. And if ther was, the the offending rugby player would be in the clear. Most of the Gay women that I know and ESPECIALLY the gay men are the ones most likely to use the derrogetory term you mention. Most people just want to be civil.
There are no absolutes when talking about gay nterests. It is a flaw to think that there are, that is on both sides of the issue. As a stay at home dad… I get the suzie homemaker predjudice.
