Hopefully, there will always be good guys creating tools to deal with the stuff we don’t want.
Today I accidentally opened my Gmail spam folder instead of my inbox. I was returned to that age before spam blockers filled with emails pretending to be from the IRS, FBI, Homeland Security, and the Bank of Nigeria. I am not all that tech savvy, but I do know that these organizations do not use .edu domains from their kid’s dorm rooms.
There is some talk that even broadband providers like Comcast may start charging extra for very heavy users. Having to pay for popup video ads would make me really angry. You don’t want to see me when I am angry.
