By the way, according to the Fox News Story I linked to in the previous post, even NARAL condemned the exhibit. Here is a very interesting quote.
“This ‘project’ is offensive and insensitive to the women who have suffered the heartbreak of miscarriage,” NARAL’s communication director Ted Miller said in a statement.

BR, it’s a totally unChristian attitude to hope anyone suffers consequences of their sins - after all, where would you or I be if we suffered all the full potential consequences of every one of our past sins?
Well, my answer to your reponse is aimed as though this story is true - thank God it is not. what I said came off wrong - it’s not like I am sitting here praying she gets infertile, but if she has such an attitude towards life - that it was fun to get pregnant and then kill the child for “art”, well then she is abusing what God gives. There are plenty of women out there who cannot have children.

People make their choices and they pay the consequences. Just because we are forgiven does not mean there are not consequences - this is why Catholics believe in pergatory correct? As a consequence to wrong-doing before Heaven.

Some women have multiple abortions and some do sometimes have problems with fertility later. This is a consequence of their action. Some are drug users who inject drugs on the street and get diseases such as Hep A - this is a consequence of their actions. Some cheat or abuse their families and there are consequences - losing their family.

Does this mean that we shouldn’t hope she turns to God - no way. But there still may be consequences that would be brought on by herself.

There is a post on the prayer board about a poster whose past mistakes are coming back to haunt him - I really feel for him and he has turned to God. We are praying that this passes from him, and if not that he has the strength and love for God to live through this time in his life. Unfortunately because of everyone’s past, there is a consequence. Action = reaction.

Well, now the student is disputing what the Yale Administrations said yesterday evening and is insisting that she really did murder her own children for the sake of “art”.

Story on Fox News.

Story on the Yale Daily News.

So it seems this woman merely videotaped herself menstruating. I don’t believe she took RU486(correct me if I’m wrong). This is really only further evidence that she was never even pregnant. I think all this girl has really done is cause a media frenzy.

The only thing I can even think to say about this shocking and stunning episode is pray, pray, pray. Honestly, I am numb.

Pray about what? There is no evidence an abortion occurred. It seems this girl merely got a bunch of attention for menstruating and making it out to be something different. If anything significant came out of this hoax it was that it made people ask this: If it’s not ok to have abortions for the sake of art why isn’t ok for convenience?

Yes, it was exposed as a media stunt–a bit of performance art if you will.
