I need 19 more after this one to get to 4000 😃
Then truly there is nothing bad? :D:D

Congrats – your count reads 4000. You can now die happy! 😃

When you have a dream that you got lost on the highway, and pull over, and are taken in for the night by a fellow CAF’er whom you’ve never met or seen a picture of, and who you don’t think you’ve even ever posted with. You spend the night with their family, meet their children (whom you’ve also never seen a picture of) and they give you correct directions the next morning. All in a dream.

THAT’S when you know you’re addicted! 😛 (and that you have odd, and pretty boring dreams)

For me, it’s the first time in my life that I’ve been glad to be an insomniac.

I get up in the middle of the night, head to the Prayer Intentions forum, fire off a huge volley of Our Fathers, Hail Marys, Novenas, etc., then go back to sleep. (Works pretty well, I find.)

Another form of my addiction is taking a break for lunch, coming back and seeing 18 email notifications of replies to my thread subscriptions…and thinking, “What, only 18?”

You are leaving for a trip in just a couple of hours, your husband is napping before the long drive and all you can think about is checking CAF just one last time. 😊 And how am I going to make it 2.5 weeks without checking the forums. 😊😊 😃

I’m such a 🤓
By and large, CAF is a tremendous source of information, inspiration and even dabate. This is also prime territory for where internet addiction meets religious addiction. There are people who spend 16 or more hours per day online, some of them are even among us here on CAF.

I used to keep my CAF addiction in check by limiting how many posts I made in a day. Then…I came back after giving up CAF this Lent to discovered my status dropped from Senior member to regular member. Shock! Horror! If I had any doubts that I was an addict, being my concerned about my “member status” confirmed that I was. :o

You know you are a true CAF addict when you make a thread about being a true CAF addict. 😛

You know you are a CAF addict when some of your best friends you know only by their CAF member name!

LOL. Yeah, I had to tell my wife who shannyk and whatevergirl were.😛

You also know when you argue with your wife about wanting to buy an iPhone so you could surf on CAF easily. After it was all said and done, and I put my manly foot down…I am the proud owner of a Samsung Propel…😊

You know you are a true CAF addict when this is the first place you think to go in a moment of crisis 🙂 .

When you are on vacation and find you have a spare few minutes to yourself and you spend it HERE!!! 😃 👍
