Still laughing about “Dominoes Vobiscum” from, like, 15 pages ago.
My contribution -
… when your mother doesn’t like your husband and you say, “Mom, I could bring home St. Joseph for a husband and you wouldn’t like him!”
… when you are frustrated at work and you joke about saying a novena to the patron saint of excel files embedded in word documents … except you’re not really joking because if there actually WERE a patron saint of excel files embedded in word documents, you would be on your knees in prayer every ten minutes.
… when you are assigned to audit your local Archdiocese and you are SOOOO EXCITED!!!
… when your primary clients are all Catholic hospitals / health systems and you are so proud of them all, especially when you see how much charity care they provide to the community, as well as how much they prioritize getting good equipment and building up to better serve their patients, as well as generally how they seem to see the inherent dignity in all their patients, even though they see a LOT of them, as well as the daily morning prayer, as well as the crucifix / risen Christ in all their offices … I could go on. And you also feel fortunate, humbled, and excited all at the same time to be the one to work with them.
