Assuming you don’t have to worry about going to work, earning a living and such, what is your dream life?

I feel than I am called to marriage. every day I would wake up early and have a jog with my spouse. After that we attend daily Mass. When our children are of school age, I drop them off at school. The rest of the day I am busy with various fun and productive activities. I exercise, indulge in my hobbies and take classes in them, do volunteer work, look after my business, pray, travel. I get to hang out with my family and friends frequently and have wholesome fun times with them. I play hard, pray hard, and work hard.

Feel free to dream 👍

Marry my girlfriend and have 10 cute daughters with super Catholic names!
Your dream life sounds cool too. 😉

My ideal life doesn’t involve working hard like yours does, I’ll tell you that.

3 years ago, I landed this crazy “job” of sorts. It ended up only lasting a year, because we simply ran out of work to do. But boy, it was the funnest, easiest way I’ve ever made money. On a good day, I was pulling in $400 a day for 6 hours of “work.” On a bad day, there was no work and I just relaxed or pursued hobbies… which was fine, because I still ended up making $4,000-$5,000 a month working part time! And there was nothing in the least unethical or illegal about it! And yes… I paid taxes.

It was also the year I got married!

So my ideal life is basically my real life from 2009-2010. Sigh.

Get married to a really good catholic man who’s language is English but understands my Spanish.
My husband must have a lot of energy, of course. :blushing:
Be a cool mom and good obedient wife.
That my husband does the cooking ( I can cook but it’s my dream that the man cooks 😃 ).
Own one house per Country 😃
Travel with the kids and my husband and have fun, laugh.
how many kids? dream life? like 7 😃 haha
I like the country side, trees, mountains, a really cool wood house would be nice! breeze…
Go together to Sunday Mass
I would like my kids to play some kind of sport like soccer or baseball ( I used to play softball).
Like them to play an instrument like piano or violin.
To be a lovable family who loves to love and being in love 😃 does that makes sense? 🤷
Be a really good example of a good catholic family.

Oh good Lord. I actually have two dream lives. One that’s crazy but scientifically possible while the other is… well, not. 😛

Realistic Dream Life: I’m a successful fantasy author. I’ve got a wife who was everything I was looking for and who everyone thought went extinct. I end up making some sort of wonderful impact comparable to the likes of Tolkien, Rowling, or the guys who made Final Fantasy VII. 😛 As for money, well I’m hoping that being a respectable college professor would earn me at least a decent, middle-class living to provide for my new family. I’m not sure about kids though. I’m open to them, that much is certain. I guess I should hope my relationship with them would be better in comparison to that of my current family (not saying it’s that bad but it could always be better).

Fantasy Dream Life: I’m an immortal mage who travels different worlds. I see their many skies and sail their endless seas. With each world, my power grows as I gain more magical knowledge. I’d personally love to specialize in artifacts, dragons, and elemental magic. I fight monsters and curiously investigate the intrigues in each realm I set foot in. Soon I discover others like me and entire libraries would be filled detailing the adventures we all share. In short, it’s a life I could only write about IRL. TwT And besides, I’ll find the same love of my life there as well. (Only difference is she’s got angel powers. ;):p)

Dream life: I got a horse, a set of armour, a good set of sharp and blunt objects, a knight’s belt, and ride around killing things. I mean, ridding the world of evil. Might be fun becoming the king of something one day but possibly less fun than doing the same old thing.

Substitute: Pope gives me the accolade instead, along with his blessing. I fly around the world in a dark suit, suing Planned Parenthood, ACLU, secular universities, lodging constitutional complaints etc., and making their lawyers’ knees tremble (I was about to use a different expression). Except no pope would give such a blessing, he’d instead explain to me how things are done the Christian way and that a lifetime of self-started litigation is not the best example of Christian life. 😛

Small-scale (and is not a dream really): It would be cool to develop enough skill to win a couple of tournaments in computer games, or what’s beginning to be called “e-sports”. I played those games before some of the current professional players were born, so how about I show the youngsters for once. I suppose this means I should grow up eventually.

Another small-scale: I’d love to have a full room of Lego blocks to play around with, even as an adult person (building modern towns and old pirate coves and medieval or fantasy castles). I don’t care what wet blankets think about me for this.

Otherwise: no idea. I suppose this means I’m a sad person.

To be completely in tune and in sync with God’s will for my life. To humbly accept any ministry that helps others and helps to build God’s kingdom on earth.

Only then will I know real joy!

I have two dream lives along the same lines as Lost Wanderer. 😃

Realistic Dream Life: I get my dream job making movies and videogames and also find time to become a professional writer and artist *. After job is settled, find a nice-sized house out in the country but not too far from town. I get married and have kids, then continue on to help family and start charities with most extra money. All throughout this I want to continue learning more about God and what lies after this.

The only problem with my dream life is my dream death which would be dying in a huge gunfight after taking at least 30 enemies out… I’m still working on the alternative. 🤷

Fantasy Dream Life: I get to live in any fictional universe I want to - either go it alone as a good mercenary of some sort or get married and live in some nice kingdom or city. I’d be of the warrior category, creating some sort of legacy for my children. Go rid the world of evil and all that or explore new lands.*

forgot about my fantasy dream 😃
very simple : If life is a fantasy, I want to live the complete Black Bird manga like the main character Misao Harada. I mean, if life IS Black Bird, I want to be Misao. But that’s pure fantasy, I like it that way.

I have a pretty simple life plan, but then again I’m not too hard to please.

I’m currently 19, so I would love to (and plan on) graduate from College with a degree in Sports Management. I am hoping that within 5 years I can hold a position in Management at Valleyfair, a theme park in Shakopee, MN where I work year after year. The job pays pretty darn well, and I would be doing exactly what I love at the place that I love.

As far as non-occupational life goals/dreams, I would love to have a loft, go to Mass every Sunday, and of course find the Mrs. someday. Once married, live a happy, faithful, and Catholic marriage. Have 2 kids down the road & live happily ever after in a house overlooking Valleyfair.

I’m extremely excited for my future to say the least!

My dream life would include a loving, prayerful husband and quite a few kids of varying ages no more than 2 years apart, maybe some multiples in the bunch, no picky eaters. Getting to do a lot of cooking and baking, keeping up with my crochet. Daily Mass and family prayer. A husband who LOVES doing housework especially cleaning the bathroom and laundry, I like doing the dishes so I’ll keep that.

Having a family night at least once a week where we make dinner together as a family, talk and play board games. Having a date night with hubby at least once a month, maybe more often. Reading together as a family in the afternoon, taking vacations together as a family, sharing a love of travel and new experiences.

I’m 30, and basically living the most important part of my dream life already. Been married to the woman of my dreams for almost 7 years. We have 3 boys (4, 2, and 1), own our own home and both have jobs. What I still dream about is owning my own business (or businesses) someday. I have a pretty good prospect in that department so it’s looking like I’m right where I want to be. Although, playing left field for the Boston Red Sox would be nice too…🙂

I’m married already to my dream man.

If I could, I would resurrect my country music career and get to sing for a living.

No kids though, the music business is no place for them.

If I couldn’t have a singing career, I would love to go to NYU for their music business Master’s program. And then work for a record label in A&R.

I feel a little weird because religion doesn’t play a part in my dream life. But oh well.

Well, other than not having 6 or more kids, I have had what I think is a pretty good life…

😉

It was always my dream to be a mom…I rather envisioned my future house to be filled with children, light, music, and joy…Some of those things are here…but I ended up married to an introvert who is drained by contact with people…So ours is not the house where all the kids congregate…As well, since our sons have gone to religious schools straight through, they have never had friends directly in our neighborhood so there isn’t really a readily available group of boys to hang with…🤷

But I have been able to be with my sons from day 1 until they leave for college…And that is a dream for many people, and something which I am very grateful for. In fact, I am content with what God has granted me, in spite of my complaining nature.

As for dreams for the future, as an empty nester… Ask me next September…

To be completely in tune and in sync with God’s will for my life.
This.

Though if we’re going all out…

Dream Life: Living in the middle of nowhere in a cozy little house/cottage with a good size vegetable garden, an alpaca, a flock of chickens, maybe a cow or goat, a little stream, maybe near some mountains. Oh, and a good, orthodox Catholic church within biking distance. Maybe a yarn shop later on.

Dream Family Life: Same as above, only married with children and maybe with a car instead of a bicycle. Or maybe bicycles with those kiddie carts. I would love my family to be close and loving, praying together daily. Homeschooling, cooking, sewing, knitting…and I’d love for my husband to be employed at a job he loves, hopefully not too stressful. Maybe we could have a small farm…not that I know anything about farming. Yarn shop could also be a possibility, if husband knows anything about accounting/taxes/businessy things.

Complete and Utter Fantasy Life: …Ninja! Possibly specializing in taijutsu (martial arts). I also wish I could sing and/or play the organ.

I’m not allowed to dream. All I’m allowed to do is carry the cross.

Oooh, I may co-opt your dream! Except for the yarn shop, because I have no idea how people actually make stuff out of string. Can I have a horse on my farm though? One that comes when I call him? Great. And yeah, you have to be near the mountains because you get really nice cool air and can keep the windows open instead of using air conditioning. Sometimes there are even really amazing hot springs nearby.
