I don’t know. You?Do you?
catholic.com/qa/can-angels-be-male-or-femaleWhere does the Bible say that?
Did you read the ccc?I don’t know. You?
blessedquietness.com/journal/housechu/shakhina.htmI don’t know where you are reading this at; however, scripture clearly shows otherwise as I pointed out in my earlier post - Eve shares just as much in the Likeness of God as does Adam. Eve is Adam’s equal - even Adam recognized this fact:
[23] And Adam said: This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.
IMHO, I’d be looking for other reading materials.
So you are not catholic? Why does your profile say you are? That would help communication so you can benifit from conversation. And so we can benifit as well.
I don’t identify with any denomination-but I identify with people who share my beliefs-and that includes many catholics. So you are not catholic? Why does your profile say you are? That would help communication so you can benifit from conversation. And so we can benifit as well.

Your 15/16 year old daughter refuses to go to church because of oppressive patriarchy and lives in a home where this is allowed?update: i don’t think she believes anymore. she is unwilling to go to church or do anything related to it. I am starting to think all of her anger is due to some incident that might have happened. I mean that’s the most likely reason, isn’t it.
It seems pointless to even try. :hypno:
To be fair…that’s how he views Mary, not the whole populationI know this was alluded to earlier in the thread…but I have to say:
Question: How does God view women?
Answer: Mary, Mother of God…the greatest, most beautiful, most perfect, most God-like creature in all the cosmos.
What is allowed? She is unwilling but we still make her go.Your 15/16 year old daughter refuses to go to church because of oppressive patriarchy and lives in a home where this is allowed?
Odd.
Our Lady is the perfect prototype of what women should be…in and through Christ. So I think it is an appropriate answer to the question. The multitude of women saints in heaven reflect the feminine glory of Mary. All women should strive for that. That’s what God wants for them.To be fair…that’s how he views Mary, not the whole population
