Well I said that I donot believes in any Prophet who comes after Muhammad pbuh in my previous post and I do sorry with christian friend Coz in christianity christians believes that jesus pbuh God or Son of God. So I didnot agree with both religion. And I believes that jesus never taught this about himself.
Oh, but Jesus did teach this about himself. He proved it by fulfilling prophecy. Remember when He made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on the back of a colt/donkey (which Catholics nowadays celebrate on Palm Sunday), He was fulfilling an ancient prophecy:
Zechariah 9:9 - Rejoice, rejoice, people of Zion! Shout for joy, you people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you! He comes triumphant and victorious, but humble and riding on a donkey - on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
Praise be to the Lord, Jesus Christ - King of endless glory!

I should point out that the denial of Mary’s perpetual virginity is a late event. Almost all Christians accepted it until a few hundred years ago (I think late 1700s, early 1800s). I know most of the reformers accepted it.

What it comes down to is denying that humans have control over their biological urges. The idea that people MUST have sex. Boy, what a road that idea has lead us down…

When you search your mind, heart, and soul.

When you read and learn everthing you can about the Mormon Cult.

When you read about the original church of Christ–The Catholic Church.

For when you believe that Christ as both Man and God walked upon this earth.

Was crucified, died, was buried, and rose again

Opened the gates of heaven for man to enter as man, Jesus conquering death as a result of our past sin.

We were made by God for His glory, and to glorify God for only then you will understand the peace, contentment, and love in yourself and of your Creator

You will find truth and that truth is the Catholic Church

How many Gods are there in the Mormon Church?
Aside from the whole buying into the CC and calling Christ’s church a cult there is much here we agree on.

We worship 1 God. As I’ve stated elsewhere The Father the Son and the Holy Ghost can each be correctly addressed as a God, but they are united in one purpose and are also correctly addressed as one God.

I agree Ralphinal.

Here is what 3 reformers said on the subject.

Luther said, “It is an article of faith that Mary is the Mother of the Lord and still a virgin…Christ, we believe, came forth from a womb left perfectly intact.”

Calvin said, “There have been certain folk who have wished to suggest frmo this passage (Matthew 1:25) that the Virgin Mary had other children than the Son of God, and that Joseph had then dwelt with her later; but what folly this is! For the gospel writer did not wish to record what happened afterwards; he simply wished to make clear Joseph’s obedience and to show that Joseph had been well and truly assured that it was God who had sent His angel to Mary. He had therefore never dwelt with her nor had he shared her company…And besides this Our Lord Jesus Christ is called the first-born. This is not because there was a second or a third, but because the gospel writer is paying regard to the precedence. Scripture speaks thus of naming the first-born whether or no there was any question of the second.”

Zwingli said, “I firmly believe that Mary, according to the words of the gospel, as a pure Virgin brought forth for us the Son of God and in childbirth and after childbirth forever remained a pure, intact Virgin.”

If anyone wishes to read the Early Church Fathers’ writings, you can do so here. There are 38 volumes of what has been taught through the ages. There are the The Ante-Nicene Fathers, The Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers series 1 and The Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers series 2.

The Cathecism of the Catholic Church teaches;

499 The deepening of faith in the virginal motherhood led the Church to confess Mary’s real and perpetual virginity even in the act of giving birth to the Son of God made man.154 In fact, Christ’s birth "did not diminish his mother’s virginal integrity but sanctified it."155 And so the liturgy of the Church celebrates Mary as Aeiparthenos, the “Ever-virgin”.156

Greeting To You All:)

My question is for all sects of christianity, If Jesus pbuh got married and have kids what do you call his kids. God, Son Of God, or any other names. I heard from a person who told me that there is one lady who gave birth to some kid without male recently. Is that child is also Son Of God. Please explain or tell me if you knew about this child who born without father. Did some of you think or believes that jesus pbuh got married and mary pbuh have other kids beside jesus pbuh. This type of question insane me about jesus pbuh marriage and mary pbuh has other kids beside jesus pbuh which are not mentioned in Islam. Thanks For Answering Me Back In Advance:)
Even though there are some news of so-called proof that Jesus was married to Mary of Magdala (most probably a hoax!), I believe Jesus never got married, so your first question is about an “if” that never happened. As for the lady who conceived without male… maybe the male was not there but she was inseminated with a male’s sperm (“in vitro fertilisation”), so it was as though there was a male, so it is very different from the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus, who was not materially inseminated like that woman. As to the how of Mary becoming pregnant remains a mystery. Only God knows…

No Christian “sect” believes Jesus married and had kids. Have you been reading Dan Brown? He writes fiction. His books have nothing to do with Christian teaching.
That’s a circular claim. Of course no ‘Christian’ sect believes that Jesus married and had kids, if you define “Christian” as someone who doesn’t believe that Jesus married and had children. That’s about as “True Scott” a fallacy as I’ve come across lately.

However, if you define “Christian” as the dictionary does, then quite a few Christian sects think it might be possible. I know of none who absolutely believe that He DID, however.

Now, as to the question the OP posed; if Christ married and had children, I’m certain that they would be named Joseph or Mary or Judah or even Bob; they would be fully human, mortal–and just like the rest of us, it seems to me.

However, the point is moot. Whether He married or not, we don’t know who, or if he fathered children, we don’t know who…and that line will have been lost through history. If they survived and bore children of their own, I think (though my memory is very fuzzy about this…) that literally millions, if not billions, of the rest of us could count Him as a forefather.

I’m quite happy, myself, to leave that alone, and consider Him to be my Elder Brother, and His Father to be my Father.

As to Mary, quite a few people --and Christian sects…believe that she had other children with Joseph, her husband. I’m one of those. The same thing, of course, applies to them. They are/were human beings just like the rest of us, subject to all the temptations and frailties that beset humanity, and liable to screw up just like the rest of us.

And y’know what? Dan Brown had absolutely nothing to do with this. What IS your obsession with Dan Brown, anyway?

Then why are you here discussing Christian theology if you: 1) admit you have a “kid’s” opinion, and 2) respond to every argument with, “Well I’m a Muslim and don’t believe that, so I’m just gonna disregard it.”

This is neither a presentable argument nor respectful to the people you are holding a discussion with.
