In NSW, Australia, the State government will soon vote on a bill which gives “personhood” to the unborn, who are believed to be 20 weeks or older.
The bill came about after a pregnant woman’s unborn child was killed by a drunk in a car accident.
The woman believed the drunk should have been charged with murder, but there was no such law.
Now, the pro-abortionists are lobbying hard against the bill. They do not want the unborn to have personhood status.
However, the Bill exempts any medical procedures or anything done with the mothers consent. So abortion shouldn’t enter the argument.
Do you know of anywhere else around the world of such a law that may act as a precedent?
Is there anywhere else in the world that rules the unborn, at some stage of development, as having the same status as a person?
PS. I think It is called Zoe’s Law as that was to be the name of the unborn child.
