He did not say he was like a king or the second coming, a certain right winger did when complimenting him, to be fair. It is still offensive to Jews and Christians. After he has had some joking around about it, I hope his Whitehouse prayer group set the quotes on their proper place.

Have you watched the video of him referring himself as the chosen one?

It’s not said in a jovial, funny or joking way.

Well then I defer to RR analysis. He most likely does see a calling. He did say in the 90’s if he ever saw a need he would run for president.I have to say he is tackling issues that have eluded career politicians. 🙌

Come on… It’s just satire…It’s been a common made movie…um, I mean comment done before. Nothing to see here folks, old news.

Just as I predicted. The left liberals discounted the hurt and dismay of the right when discussing that movie, completely ignoring what we were saying about how we felt about it.

But here we are a few days later and Trump makes a comment that appears to have been reported incorrectly, big surprise there, and the outrage of the left is out there all over the place.

Hypocrites

One of the books I am currently reading is The Family by Jeff Sharlet. It discusses their purpose. I’m sure you can request it from your local library.

Sallybutler recomending a book to me to presumably find out the inside scoop about the national prayer breakfast people. . . .

Does Jeff say in his book that the people that run the national prayer breakfast are . . .
. . . grooming politicians to believe they are unaccountable to anyone?

We are winning against China; they’ve lost two and a half million jobs in a very short time. They want to make a deal… it’s got to be a deal good for the United States. When they want to make a deal, probably we will make a deal; but if I didn’t do that… and I’m not doing that… somebody said this is ‘Trump’s trade war.’ This isn’t my trade war; this is a trade war that should have taken place a long time ago by a lot of other presidents. Over the last 5 or 6 years China has made 500 billion dollars… 500 billion. Ripped it out of the United States, and not only that, if you take a look; intellectually property theft. Add that to it, and add a lot of other things to it. So somebody, excuse me, somebody had to do it. I am the chosen one. Somebody had to do it. So I’m taking on China; I’m taking on China on trade, and you know what? We’re winning.
What’s the big deal? It would be so simple to simply report these things accurately, but nope; any and everything is used out of context in vain attempt to make Trump look bad. He’s doing good to take as much money out of the coffers of those commie pinkos as possible. He was indeed chosen to do just that, certainly by voters, and perhaps even a higher power considering the United States is about the last bastion, or at least the most powerful, of western values influenced by Christendom while China the complete opposite.

You are aware, I trust, that the whole point of the TPP was to isolate China.

That’s the best you could come up with to needle me,c’mon you’re off your game!😏

Only because he claimed credit for it. Now we’ll have “it’s the business cycle”, which is true, but also means Trump had little to do with it to begin with.

But to be honest, all politicians do it. When the business cycle is an upswing, they take the credit, when it’s going down, suddenly it’s market forces.

Maybe but don’t blame me when your Evangelical friends force you to change the Sunday service responses to something like “Lock her up.”

I haven’t finished reading it. I was offering it to as a possible source for you own edification if you truly desired to learn more.

When you are done with the book, please come back here and let me know if it did that.

Or if you thought the book was a collection of anti-conservative conspiracy theories let me know that too please.

Many thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut.
