"24" Any fans left?

Hey everyone! It’s less than a week til “Jack Bauer time”. I am so excited. Anyone else??

Yes, we’re very excited… but here’s our question. We just started watching the series on DVD… we’re almost finished with season 2. Do you think we can just skip ahead now to season 6 and watch the others later OR should we keep going in order because it seems the stories build on each other?

And I LOVE Jack. Can’t stand his daughter Kim though. I hope she’s not in every season?
 
It is better to watch them in sequence because some characters get killed or ‘revealed’ or . . . .altho watching season 6 and going back is do-able.
when is this season’s big night?
 
I’m looking forward to it.

I tried starting at the beginning, but I barely made it through season 1. I was not impressed. Many people told me I had to get all the way to season 3 before it got really good. I don’t have time to watch 3 full seasons to see if I enjoy a show. So I’m going to just jump in now and then go back and watch previous seasons if I like it.
 
I’m looking forward to it…24 is the one show my husband and I enjoy together:thumbsup:
 
I can’t wait! It’s the ONLY tv show I look forward to!:bounce: As a matter of fact, my Brother just called me to say that the cast of 24 is on Larry King Live now…
 
It looks like Rick (“Ricky”) Shroder has joined the cast at CTU.

That’s how I got hooked last year. Now I don’t want to miss an episode. And though I bought a used set of season one or two (I forget which) at a yard sale for 2 bucks, I still have to get back to see the others sometime.

And, yes, I’ve been gigged about the new season since about Thansgiving,
 
OK…I’ll bite…what’s “getting Jack”? Guessing this is a TV show that has generated so much enthusiasm?

Unfortunately, it’s up against “Heroes”. It was put to a family vote and “24” was not the winner. I’ll get the DVD set from the library.
 
I just read that he was recently in real life mugged. Fortunately, he was not injured. Crime doesn’t escape anyone apparently.

I saw part of that last night. Interesting with them talking to the cast. I didn’t recognize anyone other than Jack (I’ve only watched season 1 at this point).

Question - Wayne Palmer…is he supposed to be the original Palmer’s son? Relative? that seems kind of a lame storyline to have 2 related Palmers become president on the show.

He was President Palmers brother. Yes, new this season, HE is now the President.

Awww…No Martha!! I thought she was a great first lady. I wonder about the president’s whatever he was…the guy who was beat up. WHAT was his name??? I am drawing a blank.
