Why “must” she be educated? She isn’t a mental health care professional. Her ministry is to bring Communion to the homebound as long as it does not interfere with her primary duties.
And the basis for you assumption that the EMHC lacked good reason is… What? You got it right in post #66: why didn’t the OP “[j]ust find out who this second person is and why they need to come with the EMHC”? And how can we possibly judge the situation correctly without knowing the other side of the story? But you have. It’s writ large all over your posts. You’ve concluded that the EMHC did something wrong, even though—for all you know—the OP could be well known as difficult, or the EMHC herself might have anxiety problems, or any number of other possibilities that you seem utterly indifferent to in your blinding sympathy for the OP.
Someone recently posted that they felt slighted when a southpaw priest gave them the body of Christ using their left hand rather than their right hand. Which is crazy. If that guy had had anxiety problems, would you have suggested that he immediately write to the bishop? It’s well and good to sympathize for someone in difficulty, but not to the point you and other posters attacking the EMHC have taken it. You don’t know all the facts, but you’re slighting one sister in Christ out of a fecklessly exaggerated sympathy for another.
