Maybe this explains the sorry state of education in this country…complete and total ignorance of the obvious!

I just thought of something. If we assume that 50% of the school population is female (245 girls), then 65 pregnancies leads us to greater than 1/4 of the girls on campus were pregnant.

Wow, that’s a lot of pregnant girls. There is something going on regarding the level of sexual activity among this crowd, for we have to assume that at least some of the active girls on campus did not get pregnant and some of those that did, did not head the pro-life advice they’ve been given.

There is something seriously wrong with the culture at this campus. If I had a daughter there, I’d be big time concerned. I’d be getting together with the parents of her peers and working through something to get the girls to rethink what’s happening.

Hmm, seems like we finally found the school where they tape all those “Girls Gone Wild” videos. :bigyikes:

Hhmmmm…I didn’t realize that girls could get pregnant all by themselves.

Maybe I missed something in science class, or maybe they are teaching something at that school that no one else know about?

Parents are responsible for teaching their kids morals. Girls and Boys!

A lot has been directed at the girls, who have their share of responsibility. Why aren’t those same fingers being pointed at the boys?

Maybe if the school taught something like personal finance, showing how much child support one would be paying each week, garnishment of wages and the cost of raising a child, the pregnancy rate would drop. After all, how can you trick out your car if your money is going to child support?

I also hope these kids’ parents are not volunteering to babysit for anything other than attending school. Get pregnant, live at home for free, free babysitting, and they pay for your college as well. Why not get pregnant?

Could that be the reason so many are pregnant? It’s called sex education, i.e. sleep (or more likely Don’t sleep) with a boy and you get pregnant. If the school officials haven’t sorted that out yet, no wonder they all get pregnant.

No, it isn’t. Again, it isn’t a school teacher’s job to teach girls how not to get pregnant.

Maybe it’s time to re-think our laws concerning the minimum age for marriage.
