Yes Salvation. ( An you are on a Catholic Forum so why quote a KJV , Rehtorical question, i don’t care )

K I am not coming back to this thread so bye.

Revelation 9 is one of the most evil chapters in the NT, I know salvation isn’t part of it.

Lol. I’m sorry mate this is really a stretch and potentially offensive. You can’t pin the apocalypse on Islam just because of fringe militants and terrorists killing in the name of God. I think this is more to do with your phobia of Muslims.

That would be constraining. Getting to Mass could be difficult:thinking:

Muslims may reproduce the west into oblivion.
That, I think, is the real issue. History tells us that Islam thinks in centuries, whereas most Western schlubs are into short-term gratification, with a time horizon that likely doesn’t extend beyond finally getting to retire and start drawing from their 401k. With the “first world” largely reproducing below the “replacement rate,” destiny is written in the birth records. I believe I read that the most popular male baby name in Britain is Mohammed.

Luke-Suncook, this is only your personal interpretation of Habakkuk and is no where near what this prophet was talking about islam or Islamic terrorism. he was about 605 BC some thousand years before Islam ever was thought of. I grant that very little is known about the prophet Habakkuk and much uncertainty prevails regarding the circumstances surrounding the prophecy of Habakkuk and whether the oppressors was the Assyrians, or the Chaldeans or King Jehoiahiom of Jadah under whom the deplorable practices of Mamassih’s reign had been resumed. One might date the prophecy between the defeat of Neco by Nebuchadnizzor at Carchemish in ^05 BC and the seige of Jerusalem in 697 BC. I see nothing in this book that even could close to the interpretation you have concerning Habakkuk.

That is the major problem with self interpretations. Any one can just think up whatever and then try to find somewhere in Scripture than might fit the interpretation one wants, which is nearly always completely different from what the prophet was actually talking about. Sorry I rather doubt most will buy into your interpretations on Habakkuk.

You do your own homework.

Luke-Suncook, You can say what you like but I think most educated persons are not going to buy into your personal interpretations. I happen like anyone who researches history and the times of when the writers of Scripture lived would disagree with your interpretations However you can believe what you like but few i think will agree with your thinking

Luke-Suncook, all you have done here is private or personal interpretations, it has nothing to do with the Prophet was saying and meaning. You are only making what you want it to say and mean . Peter spoke out against priver or personal interpretations because it distorts what Scripture says and means.

I don’t expect too many people will change

Luke-Suncook, I understand that and that’s fine. I am not trying to convince you just informing you what I understand. On the other hand I find it extremely difficult as to how you can come up such an interpretation. Your interpretations i have to say belone with those doomsday writers that so far have not been able to prove their prophecies they have come up with.

Luke-Suncook, I have to also say it so far as I see has nothing to do with the 666 topic and who might be the man that bares the mark of the beast.

So who is the man who bears the mark? It would take somebody like the Leviathan.

Luke Suncook, I understand what interpretation is but I respectfully disagree with your personal interpretations since they fly in the face of reason and logic as well as basic understanding of prophecy and history of when these books were written and why and how the people of those time understood them It has nothing to do with your interpretations that’s something you just want it to say based on your own idea’s. Me I am not going to worry about if and when the anti christ is going to return. Jesus did say no one knows the time or day why because it does not aid in salvation. I will continue to live in the present and not worry about what might or what might not be.
