My understanding of Genesis is that a creature is supposed to have sex ONLY WITH A CREATURE OF ITS OWN KIND. For example, a dog is not supposed to have sex with a cat. Why is it that you say a dead human being will be having sex with 72 virgin creatures who are not human beings?

It seems strange that you should ask that! It seems to me that Muslims are the ones having a hard time with God’s power to do things. You don’t believe in the Trinity, that God can be 3 divine persons in one God for instance. You say it cannot be because you either don’t understand it or that you simply won’t accept it.

No we say it can’t be because it is not beffitting of God to do that. If God were to enter a human wouldn’t that also mean that He would have to need food, need to sleep, and need to go to relieve Himself? God is above all of these things. Another reason is that the concept of God in Islam is much easier for everyone to understand, the biggest Islamic scholar as well as the layman.It seems strange that you should ask that! It is not bodily functions, it is weaknesses.This is not a ridiculous argument at all. Would you rather worship a God who is in need of things or a God who is free of need? God is above being in need of anything or of having weaknesses. If God was human that would mean He would be in need of things, which would make Him dependent on His creation. God is high above doing such things like sleeping, eating, drinking, forgetting, relieving himself etc. Glory be to Him, He is far above those things. I hope you see where I am coming from. You have parents. Your parents had their parents. Your parents’ parents also had their parents. And if you go on and on and on, you will find a contineous link of human cells all the way to Adam and Eve. Even Eve came from the Rib of Adam. So all human beings can be traced back to Adam.
Dogs can also be traced back from generation to generation upwards to the first dogs.
So too with cats.
So too with the other types of animals.
These so called heavenly humans have no contineous link of cells to human beings here on earth. Because they have no contineous link to Adam or Adam’s decendants, THESE “HEAVENLY HUMANS” ARE NOT HUMANS. They are neither ancestors nor decendants of Adam.

But sex outside marriage is a sin. This even includes sex with ‘sex toys’. It is called adultery or fornication, depending on one’s marriage status. God of truth therefore would not allow in heaven what He forbids on earth.
Yet again all these needs like sex, food, comfort, power, etc. are all but just human wants, which can never be completely fulfilled. One can quench one’s thirst only to feel thirsty again later. That is why pain and sorrow still abound with people who have much what they wanted already.
Granted if what I desire on earth will be found in heaven. That’s logical human thinking. I wish I could win a lottery, and humanly speaking, if I am granted heaven, I would want that to be one of my rewards!
But this is pretty shallow and trivial compared to God’s promise, which is eternal. Tears will be wiped from their eyes and humans in their transformed resurrected bodies (souls) will come face to face with God in an endless worship of praise. But does our souls, which are different from our bodies, still require what our bodies need? If the answer is no, then promise like abundant sex in heaven is just cheap ploy to win over one’s allegiance.

Hello Rueben, I agree with much of what you said above. You put it very nicely. However as Muslims we believe that both our body and soul will be rewarded in the next life. Humans in this life will never be satisfied, if you get 1 mountain of gold, the son of man will want a second. In the next life one will find things in such abundance and quality that he/she will be completely satisfied.
