Maybe you should stop parroting what you hear from left wing media.
Maybe guns aren’t involved in other countries however knives and other such object have been used with the same outcome as shooting over here.So once again, what part of it being the individuals ,who are the root cause of such acts don’t you comprehend?

I know quite a few people who are very into guns. They haven’t killed anyone, except maybe in the employ of the US government with its guns.

Now the gang culture is certainly a culture of death. The video game culture could be said to be a culture of death. The movie industry is a culture of death. There are plenty actual cultures of death, but none of them is the ‘gun culture’.

The majority of gun owners are responsible.Now in this latest incident I can see the benefit of protective measures re locking up firearms within the home to mitigate access by others’ Beyond that it really is the influence of the celebrity culture and death culture coupled with the vulnerability of those who buy into them ,that these massacres continue to occur.
 
They would say to take it from the art, dance, and music programs because, after all, we don’t need them anyway.

Again you are twisting my words.I said I doubt anything put into place re gun laws would ever prevent those intent on this or any other criminal behavior from acting out.Meanwhile the bad guys have access to firearms while responsible citizens are left without.
 
Additionally,re Columbine.Klybold and Harris had several homemade bombs they used as this was their first line of attack.They wanted to take out at least 500 hundred students in the cafeteria and the library above it.My daughter was in the cafeteria when they hurled their bombs through the windows. Had their plan come to fruition,my daughter as well as countless others would have died.It was only after this attempt failed that they went to plan B,using firearms.So practically speaking,maybe we should put restrictions on fertilizer nails etc,since these items were used to make their bombs.
 
Fertilizer nails are not weapons. They can be used as one. Guns are solely weapons. I cannot think of their use outside killing animals and people.

Target practice. Collecting. Competition. There are lots of uses other than killing.
 
What are they exactly created for? You have to make an effort to turn certain things into a weapon.

As I have been saying,where there’s a will there’s a way.Those intent on doing harm will find a way.Again,if Klybold and Harris,using common household items to make bombs,had been successful,more students than any two,assault weapons cold have killed,would have lost their lives that day.Until we get to the root cause of what is motivating these sicko’s no gun laws restrictions will completely obliterate the problem of these massacres occurring.

I think the issue how do such people have access to guns. As much it is a mental issue, it’s an issue about how easily accessible guns are to certain people. Sure he could wreaked havoc with a bomb but he would have to learn how to create a bomb. It’s not like bombs are sold

Columbine was nearly twenty years ago.The Internet is full of any and all formation.bomb making included.
I will concede that it would take more effort and planning,which in many cases re these school massaceres was and is the case.So,sure placing sensible restrictions on gun access is a good start.They need to be n locked cabinets ,etc…Outside of that ,again where there is a will there is a way.Also any establishments that advertise as gun free zones tend to be targeted by those sicko’s.So maybe arming the right people to protect our children and other public places is more productive than the knee jerk reaction from the anti gun crowd calling to take them all away!

Guns are created for lots of different reasons. You have to make an effort to kill someone no matter the tool. That is what makes something a killing device, human will.
