As for the war in Afghanistan, the United States went to war in Afghanistan because the Taliban was entrenched there and Al Qaeda was training a lot of terrorists in Afghanistan. Al Qaeda attacked the United States. Yes, Muslims attacked the United States. Are you going to say that the United States had no right to defend itself against Al Qaeda Muslims???

You do realise that America went to Afghanistan after one man, but ended up in war with the Taliban, who were not even linked or related to Al Qaeda?
The biggest problem is that the invasion has not really achieved anything, apart from inciting more hatred towards America.

That war lasted about 13 months. Muslims had never killed anyone because they did not accept İslam. Other religious can stay and not accept İslam provided that to pay jizya tax. Because killing someone without a reason is so big sin that concluded with deathless Hell punisment. İf Ottoman intended to kill civils he would do this in every case. But everyone know Muslim do/did not civils at wars just as everyone know When Salahhaddin captured Jeruselam or during Ottoman conquered in Europe. İt is a wrong and fairless way to attract people to Christianity.

I think this thread is being hijacked by those working in a coordinated effort to take the focus off of centuries of Muslim aggression and murder of those that don’t convert to Islam when it takes over an area. The 57 Islamic states are not free democracies and when Sharia law is enforce and put to place, Christians, Jews and anyone else not a Muslim is in trouble. More Christians and Jews have been killed by Islam than anything else in the 1400 years of Islam.
Trying to sidetrack the tread with what about heresy groups in the middle ages, the crusades or the current war in the middle east doesn’t answer the violence as taught in the Koran and my Mohammed himself. The thread is about the current Pope honoring on martyr from the Ottoman empire. There are many more and we need to pray for all Christians and Jews in the middle east where their safety and freedom are directly threaten by Islam and those that want the world as one big sharia, Islamic state.

Well, we likely reduced the number of Al-Q attacks since 9/11. Some muslims are going to hate us no matter what we do.

Afghanistan was given the opportunity to hand over OBL, chose not to. They were warned. The Talban are intolerant religious thugs. They got what they deserved.
