The religion of Islam is satanic in origin and is utterly incompatible with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils
It is your bigtory. I can say Christianity is a satanic relegion and is against the real God and I’ll have more reasons for it. The God whitch your Bible shows is a sadist killer who likes to kill women, chlidern and animals(1samuel15:2-3)

And I don’t answer user dzheremi because this user affronted me and I taked her in my ignore list. I want she don’t think that I can’t answer her. I just don’t answer her because she is not debonair.

You know, Fathers are the protectors of their children. and that is God our Father. Its sad that muslims dont consider Him as Father, and I pity their thinking. Maybe thats the reason they try to protect the name of their Allah, when situation arises? So basically its the Muslims who are the defenders of their Allah. A reverse role compared to the Christians.
Again:
“…if you mean by Allah being a father that He brought Jesus into existence without precedence, i.e. innovated him without sperm or a father, that is, without the normal cause, then the same is true for the skies and the Earth, and since you do not say that the skies and the Earth are His children, then you should not say that Jesus is His child”

I’m sure DZ is crushed!!!

Besides he is having cocktails with me in the ignore pen!!! 😃

The reason why muslims don’t call God their father is because it is only Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came to reveal who the Father is.

Jesus came to reveal the Father. end of story.

No, It is because God is father. He has no son or girl. All of us created by him. We are his creations and not his children. I explain very good in several posts. please review my posts.

I’m going offline and I’ll continue this discussion next friday.

Good luck.

we had a disscussion about syahadah, 1st line: meaning “we are trully believe there’re no other gods besides Allah”

gods in the sentences refer to “god and goddess” in ancient greek religion, as we know “Polytheism”

after a long journey of evolutionary moment and whatso ever happened back there for almost thousands years, they reach one thing that they agreed as “the only divine”, the one who created anythings, they call them “dei (prulal) ; deus(singular)”, on this moment they religion called Monotheism.

and as i know about the whole holy collection book of mankind, it start from
  • Torah
  • Zabur
  • Bible
  • Deuterocanonica (with Gnostic script already removed)
  • Al Qur’an (add. with hadizt from prop. Mohammed)
but still, there’s several things that Frater Yulius O’carm told us:
  1. the one who know much about religion never talks, they do it!
  2. the one who realized that he/she believe in any religion, they bring peace and understanding among others
  3. the one who said that he/she know the truth must be example for the other in their real life by help other people
  4. never force anyone to believe what you know!
  5. never judge or giving any judgment to any people about something we don’t know (silent is gold, and keep humble to listen other’s opinion)
  6. the one who claimed himself/herself know everythings will fall, because their sin will never forgiven. God hate arrogant people!
  7. never argue about others religion.
  8. don’t forget to pray for any purposes.
i hope my comment can be useful.

From where i am sitting i see this thread falling in any attempt of understanding where the other poster is coming from.

People of Islamic faith may do well to consider what 99 attributes they would give to a great father or say they are bad attributes of a parent.

If Christians want to discuss the 99 names of Allah out of respect for Our Fathers description or come out and say what is wrong with the actual 99 names.

My understanding of Christians is their understanding of G-d being seen as The Father is not the same as a genetic connection as in our parents in the bible He is seen by me as Creator and Master of all by His will.
i see the Jews at the time were having difficulty in understanding how merciful G-d is and this was to be sorted by seeing a relationship (not existence) with G-d as one of a father and son of that time.

If you do as he wants you will be blessed by him. If you dont do as he wants and fall to true repentance you can go back to him. If you dont repent you will be cut of from him. He is just and merciful.

If any one still wants argue about G-d / Allah being the same in meaning from a language view needs to stay there.

From my understanding of the Catholic faith any one here saying they are Catholic should stop from saying Allah Islamic religion people is not the same G-d they aspire toward. I say this because the catechism says so. I also understand Catholics tow the line respecting the authority of the Church.

The way I see it with respect that you do as you honestly see G-d guides you, make a choice Catholic towing the line or ex-Catholic no longer in full communion, not telling you to leave Her with respect that you do as you honestly see G-d guides you, you could be a messenger for some reformation.

I have spent much time listening to how you all understand your relationships with G-d / Allah.
This does not poison me and if you are in the way of your messenger than you are as G-d / Allah wants, listening to wrong teachings is not more powerful than Him.

Was Mohamed (pbuh) put as over men as guardian or had Allah told him to gently warn with the word? if you say these people are not of the word that could be a mistake, i ask does Allah teach not all people of the book are in error?

Did Allah explaine He gave Jewish and Christian religion but many fall to error. Surely you have seen Muslims fall to error.
Surely then if you are to be in the way of the prophet (pbuh) you to are called to gently warn when Brethren are fall to error.

How would have Mohamed (pbuh) been gentle, do you see him as making a real effort to hear where his brother is in his heart speaking softly with care?
Would his motivation been to help guide to Allah or to be right himself?

Allah has nothing to prove to any one, if you are right you have nothing to prove to any one.
Allah has no need of anything from any of us He only wants good for us so in discussion we should only want for who we are speaking to.

Christians profess to be gentle people also. to save me typing, i will credit you for being able to read what is written and substitute Mohamed (pbuh) with Jesus (pbwh) and Allah into your own language and ask if the essence of the message is not the same.

You have teachings that Yeshua (pbwh) dying on a cross calling to the One he called Father who he said is greater than himself asking for mercy for the very people who were killing him.
His narrations only show him harsh once or else he spoke in parables for the open to understand and the blind could not understand. He offered no offence to any but encouraged. Their offence was in their hearts largely of self power.

Too seldom to people here act in the way of their stated authority. With much of what gets posted here people dont even quote and respond to the quote without making assumptions of the other posters.

Most of the debate in this thread is not about your hearts but language.

Each of you attach differing meanings on words from education and more so experience.

IMO we would do well to slow down and if we are motivated for the poster we are speaking to we will listen, clarify and respond for the Glory of Allah / G-d, the benefit of the poster, we will have zero to prove in who is right and so much blessing to receive.

Because the One True G-d / Allah is always right and has nothing to prove, He will always prevail it is only your selves that have to benefit or lose from Him from your discussion.

I am poor in english.

I pray to The One Only G-d who is most knowing of true religion that the error of my words in this post be not learned, the language not be seen, the truth of The One Only G-d who is most knowing of true religion truth in your hearts be known in reading this post.

I will be who I will be, you have free will so choose who you see

But you made me laughing 😃

Quran is not a copy from your Bible to I need defence Bible. Quran is God’s words to prophet Muhammad. Quran never says that God wanted to destroy humanity! What you call God is not Exist. Real God never is such what Bible shows as God. God is What Quran and real Turah talk about.
Quran is Allah;s word, and not God’s word.

What do you mean Real Turah? could you explain?

God doesn’t need be our father to protect us. We get our being from God and he protects us. We call him “Hafiz”
I checked with some muslim friends according to whom, Hafiz is a person who knows the quran completely. can recite it without any book.

Do you mean allah is the Hafiz? who knows quran?

Let’s see, above you state that God of our Bible is a “sadist killer” who likes to kill women… etc… etc… blah… blah… And you quote 1 Samuel chapter 15… hmmmm.

And now you state that God is what the koran and the real “Turah” talk about.

Newsflash! ~ Samuel is in the real "Turah" <------

And what about your koran. It is written that allah destroyed the entire earth with a flood, you know, killing every human which included women & children and beast… and only Noah & part of his family survived it.

Sounds like allah is a “sadist killer” as well.

And since our Holy Bible is “corrupted” why are you quoting “corrupted” verses. ???

There are 3 kinds of people who are described as Hafidh(hafiz)
  1. Someone who has memorized the Qur’an letter by letter from front to back
  2. Someone who has memorized 100,000 ahadith(statements of the Prophet-peace and blessings of Allah be upon him- including their chains of transmission i.e., the people who narrated the statement.
  3. Someone/something that preserves something in general like a police officer/refrigerator etc.
Now when we say The Creator is Al Hafidh, this means no one can preserve or protect or maintain things like Him. When it is described for Him, this is in its absolute sense i.e., He preserves something as long as He wills- while the creation is limited with regards to what they can preserve or maintain; a person loses his/her ability to maintain something when death, loss of wealth, illness etc comes their way.

The Creator is also known as Al-Aleem i.e.,The All-Knowing; so He, alone, has knowledge of all things.

“God” is the correct translation for “Allah”.

We use the word “Allah” who knows how many times during the Divine Liturgy, including the Trisagion (which, by the way, is my signature … so there is the word “Allah” again!). This is our language. Christians are fighting to hold onto this word in other parts of the world, and you want to take our own language – the language used by Melkites in the liturgy every day – away from us???

“Allah” comes from the same Semitic root that Jesus would have used when said he the word God in Aramaic.

Finally, it is the long held position of Christianity that Christians and Muslims (and Jews) worship the same God: the one Infinite source of all that is, and the one who is beyond all that is. One can see this in Thomas Aquinas, and is simply repeated in the most recent documents of the Catholic Church. That Muslims do not acknowledge that God is Trinity does not mean they worship a different God, it simply means, that from the standpoint of Christianity, their understanding is woefully deficient.

You may not be Catholic, and that is fine, but the position you are arguing is well outside the historical tradition of Christianity.

salaam.
I would encourage you to check out the Coptic priest by the name of Father Zacharia Boudros he has an excellent web.

Our Lord Jesus came to reveal the Father to us all, and He did in fact, way before muhammed showed up and began fighting people. some religion of peace by the way. but on the other hand, our Lord Jesus Christ came to bring something so beautful that the devil got angry. Jesus came to reveal to humanity that God is our Loving Father and that He gave His only son to save us poor sinners. of course the devil got mad, so he said “no no, you are nothing but a creation. God is not your father.”

I am sorry that you do not yet know God as your Father.

You language is quite a language, it can carry a meaning any way one wants to earn points isnt it? Hafiz means to know quran, by heart, and you add Al to it it becomes Allah? quite interesting, same thing with Angel Gabriel and Holy Spirit, just add Al and the word changes. An who knows how many such terms are there which can get altered by using Al?

This isn’t a difficult concept, and one finds similar usage in many languages, including English.

Chocolate is good. God is the Good. Just add a “the” and see how it changes. “Good” is being used in two different senses. In the first it is one of many chacteristics of chocolate. Moreover those characteristics are not necessary; as hard as it is to imagine, there might, conceiveably be bad chocolate. The word God and the Good are strictly identical, though; to say “God” and “the Good” are to say exactly the same thing. And one would never say “chocolate is the good”.

A person might be wise, but God is Wisdom itself (in this example all I had to do in English was capitalize the word “wisdom”; I didn’t even have to add the definite article).

“al” at the front of a word is just the Arabic definite article.

So, to say that Gabriel is a spirit (ruh) and to speak of the Spirit (al-Ruh) as Christians do…is dramatically different in Arabic, just as it is in English.

Muslims have given 99 names for Allah, and they are quite nice, but one of the most important one is not given which we Christians address God.

Father, Our Loving Heavenly Father

Any reason for not addressing Allah as Father? Is Allah so distant to Muslims?
The very purpose of islam is to reject the Sonship of Jesus. How then can you expect muslims to even ponder the concept of ‘sons’???
