“God” is the correct translation for “Allah”.
We use the word “Allah” who knows how many times during the Divine Liturgy, including the Trisagion (which, by the way, is my signature … so there is the word “Allah” again!

). This is our language. Christians are fighting to hold onto this word in other parts of the world, and
you want to take our own language – the language used by Melkites in the liturgy every day – away from us???
“Allah” comes from the same Semitic root that Jesus would have used when said he the word God in Aramaic.
Finally, it is the long held position of Christianity that Christians and Muslims (and Jews) worship the same God: the one Infinite source of all that is, and the one who is beyond all that is. One can see this in Thomas Aquinas, and is simply repeated in the most recent documents of the Catholic Church. That Muslims do not acknowledge that God is Trinity does not mean they worship a different God, it simply means, that from the standpoint of Christianity, their understanding is woefully deficient.
You may not be Catholic, and that is fine, but the position you are arguing is well outside the historical tradition of Christianity.
salaam.
