I came across this web site with a “Book of Mormon” tour. How convincing is it to you?

I was a Mormon, I went on and served a full two year Mission and was honorably released. I attended Brigham Young University and went to the Temple.
There are various references in the Book of Mormon (BOM) that do not match with history. The BOM contends that culture and humans grew from the southern isthmus of land <Belize, Panama) and moved North. Scientists now know through trqcing genetic code that it did not work that way. It moved across a frozen land bridge where the Alutians are now south through North America down towards the Panama area. Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints was not a prophet and there was no apostacy as he incorrectly stated.
Any time you are asked to read something, rely on your feelings alone to determine if something is inspired and not think, …check your back pocket because you are about to get your wallet stolen. The BOM is factually innacurate and has had many changes made to it by the LDS Church even after they proclaimed it to be the most acruate book and straight from the mouth of God. Joseph Smith gave several conflicting accounts where he alleges that God and Christ (he tossed in a few other for good measure then changed them in later reaccounting).
On my mission I was taught sales skills to assist in teaching, we all were.
The BOM is a nice well weaved romantic fairy tale. It is not the inspired word of God and does not have the worth of the paper it is written upon. If you want to talk more n email I am at dstrevelat, gmaildot. Com. Use ~Mormon~ in the subject line.
If your family is being visited or taught by Mormon Missionaries you can and should make them go away. Email me, ask and I’ll tell you how.

People never think that people rush away from the LDS Church, but they do!
