It’s a good question - how do we hold sharing the Good News in tension with holding to social conventions of politeness and personal space? Jesus broke some major social taboos in this passage - speaking to a woman alone, fraternizing with a Samaritan, etc. I wonder if we err sometimes too much on what society demands vs. what our King requests?
