Okay this I have been going from site to site asking and have not gotten a single answer, this challange isn’t anything bad, its just a question

But then I would be giving it away. I wouldn’t want to spoil the ending. 😉

Seriously, it’s not that simple of a question where one can give you a neat and tidy answer. There are many factors in why I believe in Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular.

Let me ask you a question. What is an honest reason for believing in something?

Probably no more than you could, even using any other literature that you care to name, give me a good reason why I should believe in any of 'em, let alone paganism.

** What is an honest reason for believing in something?**

Easy, Faith…but the question is that if you can prove without using your bible, that what you say that is wrong, really is honestly wrong.

Okay this is the basis of my challenge, you say this, but show no proof other than “it’s in the bible”. I’m asking if you can prove to me without it that what you say is wrong is wrong

So you believe things based on faith? Everything or just some things?

Okay were getting off topic here, and i bealive that everything is put on some faith even a loose sense, for example i had faith in the person who done my ear piercing that it would heal well…But please lets stick with the OP

St Peter was alive at the time of Jesus, was taught by Jesus, was given authority by Jesus to make disciples of all nations.

St Peter was the first Pope, who told the teachings to all.

The next Pope took on board these teachings, and continued to teach what Jesus did.

Then the next Pope, and the next.

It wasn’t until the 3rd or 4th Century that the actual list of books in the Bible was declared official, as up until then it wasn’t necessary, people just listened to the teachings of Jesus through oral renditions.

It wasn’t until people started saying these teachings weren’t true that the official declaration had to be made about what books were to become the Bible as we know it today.

Back to the popes. So then the next one took over, and kept teaching, then the next, and the next.

All the way down to Pope Benedict today.

Therefore, I believe that Christianity is right, especially Catholicism.

Which makes all other faiths wrong.

Jesus taught us the reasons why paganism is wrong.

But this is the topic. Your asking if I can prove other religons are wrong without using the Bible? I’m asking a valid question so that I can understand how to approach the answer.

For example, I base my belief in something because it’s true. It would be wrong to believe in something that I know to be false, right?

I think Neo-paganism is wrong, without using the bible because it is a “New Religion Movement” (i.e. It was simply made up in the last few centuries). In fact if you haven’t seen it look at Aleister Crowely’s wikipedia page - and he was one of the leaders.

Catholig

But how do you prove it’s wrong?
I don’t. Christ and His Church do. Christianity is unique. It’s claims are unique, and they can be traced back through history. Christianity is real because Christ is real.

Because the human mind gravitates towards the divine, and not having the truth, they created their own religions.

So they created there own logic and relgions. So did christians, they were just abit more popular

No, the christians followed the mandate of Christ, who was the son of god, and worked miracles. The christians didn’t invent a religion - they were taught by the diciples (i.e. students) of Jesus Christ.

Neopaganism however was created by people like Crowely who did drugs and made up the religion entirely. What basis for Neopaganism can you give? How can you justify it? It isn’t even connected with pre-christian british paganism or roman paganism - it is on par with kwaanza (there are “ancient traditions” to back it up )
