A Church Approved Prophecy for our Times

Many of the church approved revelations of Our Lady of Good Success have already been fulfilled but the most important of her prophecies is now taking place.

Mary spoke of the worldwide crisis in the Church and society that would begin in the 19th century and extend throughout the 20th century. During that time, she warned, there would be an almost total corruption of customs and Satan would rule almost completely by means of the Masonic sects. In the Catholic Church the Sacraments would be profaned and abused, and the light of Faith would be almost completely extinguished in souls. Truly religious souls would be reduced to a small number and many vocations would perish. Great impurity would reign and people would be without any care for spiritual matters.

There are sites that have the complete prophecies so if you want to read about them specifically you can use google to find them.

We are asking you to add a short prayer to your daily prayers to give Mary the help she needs to intercede for us to mitigate the effects of any harm that may come to our church.

Prayer to Our Lady of Good Success

Heavenly Mother, we invoke you under your title of “Our Lady of Good Success”. Please come to our aid in these times of trials for our priests, our church, and all of humanity. We have utmost confidence in you desire and ability to assist your children. Amen
 
Important to note is that this is not Vatican approved. It is local “Bishop” approved only.

Nevertheless, it is always good to pray to Our Blessed Mother for world situations, peace, and conversion of sinners, as she requested at Fatima, which is Vatican approved.

Consider this prophecy came to pass less than 100 years ago:

** . . .the Lord will give the daughters of Zion itching heads
and uncover their nakedness.
That day the Lord will take away the ankle ornaments, tiaras . .scent bottles…purses…(etc)
Instead of a scent, a stink;
instead of a belt, a rope;
instead of a nice hairdo; a shaven scalp;
instead of a pretty dress. a sack;
and brand marks instead of beauty**
Isaiah 3:17-24

Tattooing for identification is considered to be a form of branding, I’m sure that this passage will ring a bell with everyone as the terrible 20th century event that it was.
In my opinion a great deal of Old Testament prophecy applies to our 21st century.

Awesome thread! I’ve read and heard a lot about Our Lady of Good Success and feel it is absolutely coming to completion in these days!!!
 
Mother Shipton (16th century). "The great chastisement will come when carriages go without horses and many accidents fill the world with woe. It will come when ‘thoughts are flying around the earth in the twinkling of an eye’ , when long tunnels are made for horseless machines, when men can fly in the air and ride under the sea, when ships are wholly made of metal, when fire and water ‘great marvels do’, when even the poor can read books, when many taxes are levied for war."

Thanks for mentioning Mother Shipton, even though her poem does not fall in the category of “Church Approved.”

Here is paragraph from a Church approved book, LIGNUM VITAE, which was published by Fr. Arnold Wion in 1595.
These eight lines are the last in a series of supposedly prophetic mottoes for future popes:

Petrus Romanus, qui
pascet oves in mul-
tis tribulationibus:
quibus transactis ci-
vitas septicollis di-
ruetur, & Judex tre
medus judicabit po
pulum suum. Finis.

Translation: Peter of Rome, who will feed his sheep though many tribulations: when these things are finished the city of the seven hills will be destroyed, and the terrible Judge will judge his people. The End.

I should mention, as a disclaimer, that the Catholic Church has not formally endorsed Fr. Wion’s prophecy. However, the Church has not repudiated it either in the prophecy’s 400 year existence.
In what may be viewed as a tacit endorsement, Pope Pius XII chose his Prophecy of the Popes motto, Pastor angelicus, as the title for his autobiographical film of 1942.

I am doing a Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary’s Immaculate Heart on the 13th I imagine this will be a worldwide effort due to the 100thbAnniversary of Fatima.Prayets that through the many consecrations our broken world can overcome evil:pray:🙏🙏

The Prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success

Our Lady prophesied that at the end of the 19th Century and especially in the 20th Century that Satan would reign almost completely by the means of the Masonic sect. The Queen of Heaven told Mother Mariana that this battle would reach its most acute stage because of various unfaithful religious, who, "under the appearance of virtue and bad-spirited zeal, would turn upon Religion, who nourished them at her breast!

"As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and profaned in the fullest sense of the word. Masonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the objective of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin, encouraging the procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church.”

“The Christian spirit will rapidly decay, extinguishing the precious light of Faith until it reaches the point that there will be an almost total and general corruption of customs. The effects of secular education will increase, which will be one reason for the lack of priestly and religious vocations.”

"Moreover, in these unhappy times, there will be unbridled luxury which, acting thus to snare the rest into sin, will conquer innumerable frivolous souls who will be lost. Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women. In this supreme moment of need of the Church, those who should speak will fall silent!”

During this time, Our Lady foretold, "the secular Clergy will leave much to be desired because priests will become careless in their sacred duties. Lacking the divine compass, they will stray from the road traced by God for the priestly ministry, and they will become attached to wealth and riches, which they will unduly strive to obtain. How the Church will suffer during this dark night! Lacking a Prelate and Father to guide them with paternal love, gentleness, strength, wisdom and prudence, many priests will lose their spirit, placing their souls in great danger. This will mark the arrival of My hour.”

Pope Leo 13 had a vision between a meeting of Christ and satan on Oct. 13, 1884. Satan was bragging he could destroy the church if given more power and time. Christ gave him what he asked - 100 years (CNA article - catholicnewsagency.com/column/the-100-year-test-2454/

Exactly 33 years later, the length of Christ’s life, was the 6th apparition of Fatima.

Many people expect the severe chastisements of the end times to start this year but thinking they will begin with a big event on May 13th perhaps is a bit to obvious - but we will see in about a weeks time.

  1. The legend of the vision of Pope Leo XIII is nothing but Catholic urban legend, unsupported by the facts and unsupported by any evidence.
  2. No one knows how long Christ’s life lasted. Even the date of His birth and death are subject to much speculation.
 
After searching, I can find no indication that Our Lady of Good Success has been approved by the competent authority of the Church to be worthy of belief. Simply being “approved” by the local bishop does not make it so. If anyone has a link to any “official” statement by the Church of the Congregation for Doctrine and Faith, then please share.

It is not urban legend as there were witnesses to his collapse - for you to dismiss this is quite puzzling - this happened to a POPE - hopefully you won’t write back and tell me he just made up this story for kicks.

Wow!! - I see you are really are a tear to discredit everything you can about this post. Enjoy yourself - by the way the original bishop witnessed a miracle related to Our Lady of Good Success - you can look it up if you want and perhaps while you are doing that Blessed Mother will help you to recognize that these apparitions are true - or at least to not judge quickly and harshly but to have an open mind and heart so she can properly relate to you.

The problems with the story connecting the institution of the St. Michael prayer and a supposed vision of Leo XIII may be summarized as follows:

• Writings which promote the story give no references to sources.

• The various accounts contradict each other as to where the vision supposedly took place — after Mass at the foot of the altar, or in a conference with cardinals.

• The various accounts are inconsistent about the date of the vision.

• The dates the accounts give for the alleged vision (1880, 1884 and 1888) do not correspond with the date when the St. Michael prayer was actually instituted (1886).

• There appears to be no corroboration for the story in a contemporary account which one would expect to have mentioned the event, had it indeed taken place.

These considerations all tend to support the conclusion Father Bers arrived at in the 1930s: “that the ‘vision’ had been invented in later times for some reason,” and that the story was simply feeding upon itself.

All I am asking for is proof that the competent Church authority has stated that it is worthy of belief. Why is that asking too much? If these apparitions are true as you maintain, then it should be very easy to provide a Church source stating so.

The Vatican would never approve an apparition that said what this says - read above about the specifics of some of the prophecies and you will see that Mother said masonic influence will infiltrate the church in the later part of the 20th century. That is the same reason why maria divine mercy has been condemned. That would be like admitting that Pope Francis is the false prophet in the book of revelations. The reality is that all previous prophecies in this series of apparitions Mother made have come true. There is at least one book I have discovered that details these and other online materials also. Teach yourself about the material and give yourself a chance to correctly judge it. God and Mother would never condone any quick and harsh judgement of any alleged apparition.
