A Happy Death

Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings in our lives, and today we especially thank you for the gift of answered prayers, in what ever form the answer may come. We lift up our intentions for our friend Peggy who has been dealing with much pain and suffering in her life for some time. Despite these challenges, your daughter Peggy has been consistent in her love for you and in praying for your involvement in the lives of all those dear to her. Lord, we ask that you grant our friend continued strength, courage, and trust in your divine providence. We ask that you comfort and console her during this period of trial and anxiety as she faces the completion of her journey on earth towards an eternal life of happiness with you. Please also bless her son and his situation, and help the bonds of love to overcome all difficulties in his life.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.
 
O God, great and omnipotent judge of the living and the dead, we are to appear before you after this short life to render an account of our works. Give us the grace to prepare for our last hour by a devout and holy life, and protect us against a sudden and unprovided death. Let us remember our frailty and mortality, that we may always live in the ways of your commandments. Teach us to “watch and pray” (Lk 21:36), that when your summons comes for our departure from this world, we may go forth to meet you, experience a merciful judgment, and rejoice in everlasting happiness.We pray especially for PEGGY as she faces terminal cancer.We pray for her soul that she will join You when her time comes.We pray also for her family,particularly Bob her son.He is having problems in his marriage and has just gained a job.Lord please grant Bob will be able to cope with whatever he faces in life and please bless him . We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Again, thank you all so much for your prayers. I am glad to be nearing the end, and only pray that Jesus will take me home. I may spend quite some time in Purgatory, but as long as it’s not hell, that is a good thing. Please pray also that I may be some sort of inspiration in a good way in having a friend come back to believing in God.

Hopefully I have good news. My nephew has offered a plane ticket to my son to visit me, and his supervisor said they could work something out. I’m not sure when, as he’s still in training, and will probably have to finish classes. With God all things are possible.

I will look forward to meeting you all in our true home! And I will continue to pray for you all.

Thank you for all the blessings brought on in Peggy’s journey. She has been loyal to You, a blessed servant of your word. She makes sure she comforts people, brings happiness. May You be with her in her time of trial and pain and may You bring her to You in peace and harmony. May her son also experience Your love and guidance during his mother’s time of illness. Stay with them, Lord, and watch carefully. We thank You for everything You’ve done for us. We love you, Lord. Hear these prayers as we cry out to You.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation,

Ever since I was a small child I have always prayed for the souls in Purgatory. I will offer up my morning Masses for you and your son and will continue to pray for you both.

Thank you for being such an inspiration.
