Ok, I hope I can articulate rather than slaughter what I think I mean.

If something that belongs to us is taken without our consent and given to another, jealousy is a tool that for us maintains the motivation required to return things to their proper order. When this is accomplished by human agency it is a work motivated by jealousy in the service of intellect. Whether or not God feels anything when violated this way matters less than the fact that He will accomplish the same end that for us requires the drive provided by jealousy. Jealousy maintains for us, the drive to do what is necessary to return things to their proper place. If that happens, we can assume the person who made it happen was motivated by jealousy. The end makes the means evident whether it was an emotion felt or an act of will.
