I think it’s more about the unsettling notion that there’s a President that at least two (and probably more) senior members of his administration are actively undermining him. These individuals may be justified in their actions, but let’s call it what it is, subordinate members of the Executive Branch sufficiently disloyal that they are willing to work to undermine the lawfully elected President of the United States. I’m sure their motives are sufficiently good, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Honestly, if he’s as bad as this letter suggests, then they should go to Congress and openly appeal for Congress to intervene; either by using legislative powers to limit the President’s ability to create chaos, or to impeach him. Or, go the other route, invoke the 25th, seek his removal and take their chances with Congress that way. But this sort of bizarre shadow war is the worst of all possible strategies, it is anti-democratic, violates the very nature of the constitutional order, and worst, in some respects, by tipping their hand with the NYT op-ed piece, they know risk making a man they regard as unstable even more unstable.
 
Of course this may all be aimed at deflecting stories of Sessions grand jury operations which have been rumored to involve Rosenstein et al. More fun… I still think Trump wrote it himself…too cute having the NYT verify the deep state exist. Merica really is turning into a t*rd world country. Oh well all good things must come to an end.

Hooker hush-money. Men of any sort of character whatsoever, no matter which party, have no need of a guy to distribute hooker hush-money.
 
Since the USA is (still) considered the most powerful country in the world, everyone has an interest in what we do. If China becomes the most powerful country in the world, people in the USA will become much more interested in what they do/don’t do (although there are some who argue we ought to start paying attention now instead of waiting).

Do you have a problem with that? How could anyone have a problem with that. It’s one of the points detailed in the anonymous letter.

And if there is truth in the letter, I pray to God the right thing is done for any country whose leaders attitude is kill them all, let’s kill them all.

I make absolutely no apologies for this. And I believe where there is smoke, there is fire.

I don’t consider the USA the most powerful country. But if it’s got capable nuke capacity, and its leader is not thinking clearly, that’s an issue.

And I don’t know if you have noticed but there is building trouble in Syria that is going to need a very cool head. It’s all over our news, so it should be all over yours. China is not positioning to be your main worry.

The man is in his 70s.

Don’t give up. The market’s only been in a correction since Jan 26th but I would expect new highs shortly.

If not, the Fed is stuck.

The “resistance” can have their childish tirades. Trump’s winning. They can’t understand it and don’t like it because they have no control over him. And he’s doing what he said he was going to do even though the “resistance” is desperate and will stoop to any measures to interfere with a legitimate agenda. Every time they try, he stomps them. And will continue to stomp them. (They’re unhinged!) I for one am sick of the nonsense from the peanut gallery “resistance”.

Okay, that is your opinion. How you form opinions probably depends on where you learn information about the subject. The world is in bad shape because of false info - we know it as propaganda because it became the tool of Communism (USRR) and suppressed more than half of Europe . (beginning before WWII and continued until President Reagan got with Mr. Gorbachev) Socialism today - the choice of Leftists and Progressives is the start of the road to Communism. Do you know much about China, N.Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, and footholds in Africa?
Your statement about “truth” in the letter (which relates to the Anonymous NY Times printing of a person yet to be identified and arrested for National Security violations) and inferring that our President has an attitude of “kill them” all, etc… is part of a most popular saying among combat military (who sacrifice their lives to keep our country safe - no small service) “Kill them all, let God sort em’ out!” Americans are not offended by that.

American countries deserve our attention if they can manage to ask for it. They seem unable to fight and overthrow their dictators. Wars are fought for these reasons.
The United States fights to protect and defend - first our own. (and capable at the same time, our allies)
I am puzzled by your unnecessary remark about not considering the USA the most powerful country.
It doesn’t matter, but you are from Australia - if Australia was attacked, what powerful country, other than the U.S.A. would show up immediately to help?
There is another popular saying, “with age, comes wisdom”. We Americans respect our elderly.
The age of 70s is a very productive time - we do not discriminate age! Leaders need to be wise!

Include Australian troops, as well as those of other nationalities. Also don’t know if you have noticed, but without pine gap and a few other places here, intelligence is a problem .
